News: Cowboys DC Mike Nolan Fired

As a D coordinator it’s really not a bad idea.
2 HCs to break up the responsibilities and concentrate on each unit.
I suggested Wade Phillips in another thread but there’s some obvious issues there but kinda the same idea.

I don't think Wade would work for Jerry again, though.

He did the right thing. That was Mike’s only flaw of hires he had last offseason. Outside of not calling plays. Nolan was always the, “wth” head scratcher.

I agree. And even then I get the vision. Nolan just was not the one to run that vision here.....

Yeah but your players are still trash. Unless they spend money, that hardly changes.

Sure you have pieces to build around, but thinking Jaylon Smith is a cornerstone player and defensive leader and still not addressing Safety and DT will net you the same results.
