3 of the teams have generational QBs, that's pretty tough to snag even IF you hit on a QB in the draft. Bills have Allen on a cheap contract and built up their defense.

Most of the teams in the playoffs have great players in the trenches. Chris Jones, Suh, Vea, Ed Oliver, etc.

I have to add that buffalo has a very good qb, but it isnt enough when facing a good defense.
Buffalo's OL blocking sucked and they had no run game at all. The KC defense was impressive. They dont get enough credit, media always gives all
the credit to mahomes hill and kelcy.

KC has all 3, a Great QB, Great offensive weapons and OL, and a great defense ! lol, that is why they are so hard to beat.
If Off falters, Defense steps it up, if defense falters Offense steps it up. plus add good coaching and they are almost impossible for the other teams to beat.

I agree on dak, he wants too much, and what we need is a very good defense.
If you look at KC offense, Dallas offense with dak is way below them, no comparison, and not just dak but whole offense.
And the KC defense compared to ours , well I dont even know what to say on that, they are a 10 and we are a 0 or 1 at best.

Right now it looks like KC will win the next 3 SB's, so dallas should try to build a great defense in that period, and it is silly to pay dak,
because he aint winning no SB against KC, probably cant even get to a SB, but if they did , no way our offense can keep up with KC.

Dak was making $2 million a year for four years and the Cowboys never had a top defense. Never even brought in a top defensive free agent. The Cowboys have drafted poorly on defense for years and the top defensive player they drafted, they let walk. That's why the defense is bad;not because of Dak's contract.

What you’re saying is correct, the problem is there are some that want to trumpet the elite quarterback line. Fact is Brady is no longer an elite quarterback, however he has elite offensive talent around him in Tampa. Brady also still has a unparalleled football IQ. That being said, the teams that won today had superior defenses.

that’s 6 first or second round picks that have either been flat out terrible or they get almost nothing out of for various reasons.


The defense sucks because our FO can’t draft defensive players. They frankly suck azz at it.

Not trying to pick with you but who would you have drafted instead of those guys? LVE was all pro as a rookie. Jaylon and LVE were top 8 linebackers in 2018. Gregory was a freak of nature with a weed problem. We should have passed on him but I understand why we drafted him. Chido sucks but that pick was universally liked because of his versatility. Taco was a solid prospect that did not develop and practically every team passed on Watt. Hill was awful and the team panicked because the defensive line was so bad. The problem is we don’t draft with a plan. Hopefully that changes this season.

3 out of 4 of these guys were generational players. I don't know where you plan on finding one?

If anything, the fact that Allen was there should prove that we can do it with Dak, as well. Not to mention the fact that there are plenty examples of mediocre even bad QBs making it to and winning the SB.
