Tom Brady could become historically greater than all 32 NFL teams

It is an amazing feat and while this is a team sport, it is a game where 1-2 players can make a difference. Brady is that difference maker.

However, he was not great yesterday. He was good enough to win, but that game was much more about the defense. Brady actually gave the Packers the chance to get back into the game, with one interception that was horrendous.

Tom Brady, IMO, is in the same situation that Peyton Manning was in at Denver. He (Manning) didn't have that great of a season statistically, but that Denver defense won that Super Bowl for them. I feel like Brady, at least this season, is also being carried by his great defense.

Agree I think it is both. Brady is good and so is Belichick. Remember Belichick won the division and went to the playoffs with Sam Cassel as their qb one year.

Matt Cassel 11-5 missed the playoffs

I mean is that better? Its better to suck in the 2nd than the 1st? Look, what Brady is doing is incredible. But he's on a stacked team. Let's not pretend like he's the sole reason he's the missing piece but not the sole reason they are doing what they are doing. Hell if Jameis would've got one more shot I'm pretty sure he too would've at least made the playoffs especially if you give him Antonio Brown and Gronkowski.

This is just stupid. What are you talking about? Winston can't even start over some gadget playing QB in New Orleans. He's an idiot.

There were two key plays in the second half with Brady that Winston and many other QBs would have screwed up: 1 tossing the up ball up on third down when there was a free blitzer in his face to make it a punt, and when there was another free blitzer and he threw the ball into the ground to keep them in field goal range. These aren't negative plays, they are plays that avoided loss of yardage and kept the Packers from having good field position (they got zero off the punt INT) and Bucs got 3 points after Brady tossed the ball to the ground.

This is elite awareness and understand where you are at on the field and the circumstances. Too many QBs would have ran around all day and got strip sacked, happened to Josh Allen twice, has happened to Rodger and Wilson. Brady shows why he's ahead of them even on his bad days.

It truly is...I could see if he was playing at a high level but that guy sucked yesterday and he's getting credit like his team didn't help him. This slurpfest.....some guys need a bib sheesh....
He wasn't at his best...but....

I love it when "it's a team game" but only when it serves an agenda.

And we're not talking about just one game. How convenient you dismiss 83 years of his NFL playing...and just soak up the one game to prove your point.

If Winston was still QB of the Bucs, neither Gronk would have come out of retirement nor Brown lobby to sign with that team. Those two are on that squad because Brady is the QB.

The Bucs D is nowhere near that Denver D. Denver D had historic stats, Bucs D has inconsistent pass defense and their run defense fall off a cliff after losing Vita.

Michael Jordan couldn't even sniff the playoffs playing for the Washington Wizards at age 38-40.

What Brady has done is nothing short of incredible and I implore all embittered haters to put their differences aside and bow down. Because you'll never see this again.
I didn’t like the Bulls and I’m not Patriot fan. But if your a fan of the game you have to admire the great ones regardless what team they’re on, etc.

If he were going to the SB looking like he was throwing a brick like Manning did his last year, I could see people being tired of the butt kissing.

But he's coming off a 4,600 yard, 40/12 season at age 43 for heaven's sake.

I'm not comparing Brady to Winston. My point was the Buccaneers are stacked. Would Winston get them here? No. But would he had made the playoffs in his 2nd year with Gronk and Antonio Brown as well? He would've. And what he Saints do with Winston has zero bearing on his skillset. When it was time for them to run a gadget play that required a arm they put Winston in there not Taysom Hill.

Brady is still one of the best QB's in the league but to printed like he's the sole reason why won yesterday is misguided and a complete lie. Three interceptions that resulted in 6 points.....

Thank goodness Brady left the Patriots or they would have matched Landry's and the Cowboys record of 20 consecutive winning seasons. And probably broke it.

I used to watch this YouTuber who would crap on Peyton Manning at every turn. He made a video around a year after Manning retired and he said how much he was missing Manning playing and that he didn't appreciate Manning's greatness enough.

It's true. As much as people dislike Brady, the NFL won't feel the same without him and the haters will feel this even if they don't admit it. 20 years being the face of the NFL is a long time.

"stacked"...since when?

Were they stacked just last year?

Those two guys came here ONLY because of Brady. Gronk had ONE target and one catch.

And you think Brady worshipers look pathetic.

Yeah they are a bunch of idiots because just like everything they don't know anything about a player or team until someone gets there. In this case it being Brady. Buccaneers had a good defense last year and were stacked on offense. The weak link was Winston and his 30 interceptions.....yet you are CHOOSING to be ignorant on the subject when someone is educating you on it. They improved the offensive line as well. Mike Evans and Godwin were the best duo in the league last year and they added Antonio Brown and Gronk with Brate and OJ Howard already there.....nevermind Miller is pretty good too. What are you even saying? You need to change your name to "Brady Lover" its much more fitting......

Why did the Patriots not get to the Super Bowl last year?

They were "stacked" last year too and missed playoffs. Brady took a 8-8/9-7 team and made them Super Bowl contenders.
