First Wentz, now Goff.......just confirms picking a QB top 5 of draft guarantees nothing. Some of us forget the REAL evaluation of these players starts AFTER three years. Teams try and surround them with the best talent but at the end of the day, they are judged on wins and losses and their ceiling.

Wasn't a fan of Goff pre-draft...

Wasn't a fan of Goff after seeing him in the NFL early on.

Wasn't a fan of Goff when he was a NFL darling and going to the Superbowl.

Still not a fan of Goff.

Wentz will bounce back as long as there isn't an injury that we don't know about. Philly just has to add some weapons to that team.

Again proving you know nothing about quarterbacks. You make it too easy.

Wentz has been making boneheaded decisions forever. Wentz' injury is in his brain. His mechanics go all over the place, his footwork is a mess and to top that all off he just got his superbowl winning coach run out of town in Philly. The problem wasnt Pederson, nor Schwartz, nor Roseman. Its been Wentz and always has been. Hes accomplished nothing in his career, they won a Super bowl without him and his teammates hate him. Theres no fixing any of that.

The 2016 curse.... hit Goff, Wentz, Zeke, Jaylon, and many others who were paid. I like Dak, but I’m afraid he might be next to get struck with the curse.

I guess when you can't do much with headsets off people will figure that out.

Without meaning to be too harsh, I came away from Hard Knocks with the impression that Goff is one of the most intellectually challenged players in the league. That won't get you a long career as an NFL QB. I was surprised he had such a great year to start, but haven't been surprised since.

Guess the pressure created from not being total bottom feeders in their devision was too much for them!

Sometimes, it just happens that way -- the pressures and expectations of major league play makes 'em forget that football is really supposed to be fun! Anytime a team's media and their fans expect more than they're ready to accommodate, it turns them into something less than their their hopes and dreams relied upon to sustain them. This is why, as fans, we should be careful to encourage them as best we can, to prevent that from happening.

Be aware that what we say here could have an effect to either encourage or discourage them from success. I've often wondered how they might react if they were inclined to read about our thoughts and opinions of them. I wouldn't necessarily doubt that some of them have done exactly that. o_O

It’s crazy to me.

Goff went to the super bowl

Wentz owned his rookie year

now this

The question is have both his their ceilings. What's interesting is I'm not sure anyone is now questioning their tangibles. It's what's between the ears........ the inability to handle the pressure. I often go back Aikman's response to Jerry saying Brandon Weeden threw a prettier ball than Troy. Troy simply responded with " can he handle pressure".

I liked this post for the first part of it before I saw the Wentz thing. I agree that Goff is trash.

So is Wentz though.

The excuses you continue to make for him despite his performance are crazy, especially when compared to the criticisms you have for Dak, despite his performance. It's like a bizarro world

Wentz looked awful. Not bad, awful. He looked like he was not a top 50 NFL QB last season. It was bad. There was literally nothing redeeming about his play. Not his decision making, not his mechanics, not his accuracy.

And now you have Wentz turning into a DIVA and coach killer.

Yeah...

I'm not the type to ignore an entire person's career based on 1 game, month, or season.

He's got immense talent and he's performed at a high level in this league.

I think this is the lowest we will ever see his stock.

What's crazy is both McVay AND Rams GM are refusing to commit he will even be on the team for 2021. What the hell up with that? Are they trade-baiting ????? (lol).

It’s crazy to me.

Goff went to the super bowl

Wentz owned his second year

now this

Inconsistency! The last couple of years hasn’t been that good for either QB.

Seems I heard Dak has to have talent around him and now the same is being said for Wentz? lol Fact is all QB need talent around them to have great success.
