I wonder if he’s pulling the hair piece out of retirement.
I have no idea what you’re talking about.

He was a great player who put up great stats, but was he really a leader? No. We had 2 playoff wins with him.
The Cowboys spent a 2nd round pick on Anthony Fasano. The Cowboys spent a 2nd round pick on Martellus Bennett. Both made the Pro Bowl in other uniforms. Bennet won a Super Bowl in another uniform. Witten was about HIMSELF. When a team spends that kind of draft capital on players...a true team player would have done more to make it work. Witten had ZERO interest in those players being successful in Dallas. The longer he was in Dallas...the longer I disliked him. When he abruptly left to work in the MNF booth, that solidified what I long felt about him...he was SELFISH!!!

Agreed, I don't care for him much either. What did he really accomplish? Nothing.

Glad he'll be signing an one day contract to "retire" a Cowboy.

Class act guy, can't blame him for not wanting to give up the sport he's known most of his life.

Ulysses
Alfred Lord Tennyson, 1809 - 1892
Though much is taken, much abides; and though
We are not now that strength which in old days
Moved earth and heaven, that which we are, we are,
One equal temper of heroic hearts,
Made weak by time and fate, but strong in will
To strive, to seek, to find, and not to yield.

We already have young up-n-comers Blake Jarwin, Dalton Schultz and Blake Bell.

We're good! :thumbup::starspin:

Both of these posts are a joke. Witten was here when there wasn't a lot of good players around him.

He was here for what, sixteen years? One year we had 13 pro bowlers. I don't know what you're talking about and neither do you.

If you would prefer stats over wins, then be my guest. You're just like he is.
