It makes sense why Jerry is dead set on keeping Dak now

Thats a small group of ESPN writers, not 32 NFL execx.

there have been two polls with a karge sample size of GMs and Execs.
1) about a dozen of the league GMs/Coaches did a poll that had him 9th
2) a poll of 32 of 32 GMs/Excec had him 14th

that first poll was so bizaare that one NFL “executive” had Mahomes 4th and Wilson 9th.
You need a large sample of- weed out idiots like that

I fixed it for you

JJ will sign Dak this week and make a big “splash” announcement to steal the Super Bowl limelight. Not going to “Gorico Quadruple Platinum Gurantee “ it or anything... but, I would not be surprised at all if it happens lol
Well...the optimum day to announce it would be Wednesday....get three days of spotlight. Saturday is announcement of HOF Class of 2021, and Sunday is the game.

Those are just articles, not NFL executives.

Any GM that would have Aaron Rodgers ranked at #11 would be fired.

Josh Allen at #17, yeah right.
Josh Allen is trash. Chiefs schemed for Diggs in the AFC championship game and Allen reverted to his low IQ inaccurate 200 yards per game type of quarterback he was before this outlier of a season.

AAron Rodgers is great. In the regular season. Come playoff time he scares nobody. He’s going to choke. He’s a front runner.

1-4 in NFC championship games. How’s that different than Donovan Mcnabb who played in tougher divisions with a hell of a lot less talent in the early 2000’s and achieved the same record

Stafford is a middling quarterback with a PFF focus grade of 15 entire spots lower than Dak Prescott as a quarterback. And a laughable passer rating double digits below too.

Considering NFL executives consensually rank Dak as a top 5 quarterback in the league Jerry has probably had several teams inquire about trade talks.:omg:

LOL no

this means we can a lot for trading even an average QB like Dak so let’s do it

This is reality.
Dallas could have signed Dak long term at 29M a year two years ago without taking a big cap hit and then traded him right now for half a franchise had they desired.

People keep pointing to Goff and Wentz as examples of why patience was warranted but that's only if the guy sucks.
You have him in the building every day.
You should know him.
Had Dallas locked in Dak they'd be in the position HOU is with Watson as far as value not that LAR was with Goff or PHI with Wentz.

And if I can be honest here... I don't think Goff and Wentz are as awful as people think.
They just lacked leadership and it factor.
You put those guys in a fresh start situation with talent around them and I think they'll win games.
WFT/Indy/MIA/CHI there are some teams that could win with them.
And there are places like NE/DEN/NO where they'd be starters easily.

Yep, this is a SB or bust move and I like it. I like it when a team puts it all out there.

I didn't mind the Eagles Dream Team experiment and the Brady move TB took paid off for them so far, once it smoothed out.

History shows the GM of the Vikings to be a fool and he lost his job over the Walker trade with DAL but what if that had worked? This trade can't even be evaluated yet.

Must have liked that “all in” draft from Ditka too for Ricky Williams??

Wednesday would be good. Sun afternoon would be the ultimate attention grab. But in reality-- any day during the media week would be splashy and would grab headlines for a few days.

You’re advocating for trading Dak? You don’t think he’s a game changer then. I guess that makes sense since Dallas was on there way to 1-4 with him starting and a watermelon kick from 0-5. I agree Dallas should be looking at options to start over at QB

You need to watch actual football, not fantasy stats. The Stafford trade supports the argument that if you dont have an elite QB, that even if you have an OK starter, you do whatever you can to acquire an elite QB.

Kroenke and Jerry are good friends in NFL ownership circles. I wonder if Jerry will be influenced?

This coming after a year where the Glazers got impatient and went after Brady...

Completely agreed. Dak locked in at 29M at 27 years old and top 5 at his position could command a king’s ransom.

His value would have been so high you could’ve traded him straight up for a disgruntled Aaron rodgers:facepalm:

The only watermelon kick is your level of IQ. Please consider therapy

Stafford elite?

Rams would trade Stafford and 2 more 1sts for Dak right now.

Stafford is a great qb. I’ll take dak, but people are going to find out just how good Stafford is now that he is surrounded on both sides of the ball with talent and coaching.

Glazers and GM Jason Licht watched no.1 pick Jameis Winston perform for 5 seasons, playing out his first contract.
Seems to me that showed patience to see if they wanted him to continue as the Bucs QB.
They - along with HC Arians (after only one season) - decided no.
Now when it comes to head coaches, Tampa Bay is quick to pull the trigger....when through four of them in 10 seasons.

Looked like Brady was going to the Chargers, but Joel Glazer decided he was sick of losing.
