I would not be surprised to see them go after Carr. Vegas and Chuckie are apparently interested in Watson and would be willing, according to reports, to put together the kind of deal that would get him. If that were to happen, Carr would be on the block cause I doubt he would ever go to Houston. Washington would be a perfect fit for him IMO. Would not be good for us though.

Either way, it sounds like they're set on upgrading the position......not good for us like you said

Keep in mind if Watson immediately leads them to the postseason the values of the draft picks are reduced. Hell I'd give those up every day for a QB who put my team in contention for the postseason every season .......like Rogers, Wilson, Mahomes

Since they don't have high picks, they are going to have to give up quality players in the deal or take on big contracts. Carolina seems like the ideal fit for Watson, he is from that area and they have the more attractive assets to offer a better deal.

Why you say that......they easily offer a couple of their DLinemen and draft picks. Not to mention, it's unlikely they'll be able to keep all of them together with 2nd contracts.
he means enticing to watson from the ownership perspective. watson is coming from a fubar ownership situation and would be heading to one that is just as bad if not worse.

If they get Watson then they’ll have to part with Chase Young or Montez Sweat and a couple of first

they may end up with Derek Carr

Oh, you mean Synder???????
Oh man.....apples and oranges from Texans administration/ownership vs WFT. WFT has restructured its front office .....diversity appears to be the keyword. Take a look, totally restructured

You guys seem to forget that Watson has a no trade clause

There is literally zero that WFT has to offer that is enticing about them
If they offer Chase Young And Montez Sweat Houston will listen

He's talking about Watson's no trade clause, not whether Houston would want Chase Young.

Why would Watson want to go join up with Danny Boy?

I am not sure posters here are aware of just how religious right wing HOU has become which is one of the main reasons Watson wants out. They have some crazy things going on behind the scenes and if that continues, this is blowing up in their face with the league office.

I understand that.....lol ]
Are you saying he will have no interest in playing for WFT?

Of course. Why the heck would he go there..there are literally dozens of better options out there

Because he wised up and turned it over to Rivera. Rivera's players love playing for him.

Snyder realized what Booger has yet to accept, he was the biggest problem with his own team. That entire Griffin mess was created by Snyder.

There are not 24 teams willing to give HOU what they're demanding for him, I do not think there is one. I think they're trying to force him to stay by demanding that in trade, if that is what they're demanding.

Snyder has pretty much turned the entire operation of his the over to Rivera. In his words, Rivera in charge of changing the entire culture of the team. From my understanding, Rivera pretty much has a blank check to rebuild the team as he sees fit. Besides, Snyder has his own problems now (lol) .......legal and personal.

You aren't following along. Watson has to agree to a deal.

Too much has been made out of his no trade. He wants out of Houston badly apparently so his list of teams is pretty vast. I think he'd have interest playing for Rivera in a division that is weak and Washington could rule.
