I’m glad you know my takes.. I know none of yours..
That's because I choose not to partake in this endless Dak yapping. It goes nowhere.

Dak is very good. He is not elite. There is little to choose between him a Watson. In the end, he will get Watson money.

And in a couple of years, after Lamar Jackson and Josh Allen get paid, it will look like a good deal

On the Break they discussed Dak to Dolphins for Dolphins 2 first round picks this year and Tua for Dak. I believe one of the picks is the third overall. Of course they would not do the trade because they are all Dak Homer's pulling the Jerry company line. I happen to know a group of Dolphins fans so I asked them if they would do it. They did not seem very high on Tua and actually said they would do it. Perhaps Dak is valued higher by other fan bases than ours. I definitely found it interesting and thought I would share it. Personally I do not know enough about Tua but can you imagine if he was serviceable. You would get a young QB on the cheap. You could pick 3 times this year in the first round and you could spend Daks 40 million on free agents. IMHO this is how you build a winner. Dak is very good but IMHO he is not untouchable like a Mahomes or Rodgers.

I know two Dolphins fans at work. One is actually a friend of mine. While neither is particularly impressed by Tua, they're expecting/hoping Miami takes that WR at #3. But before I made this post I shot a text to my friend with this proposal. His response, "Hell no". I'm not going to ask the guy at work because he's a manager and I don't want to get in trouble.

Oh.. Like Jared Goff and 2 first rounders for Stafford..

Please try to keep up with what’s actually going on in this league instead of trying to be a smart ***.
Completely different situation. Not even remotely close to the Dak situation.

Apples and oranges. Please try to keep up.

The Rams were so desperate to dump Goff's contract, they had to pay a premium to get rid of him.

The Dolphins would be morons to offer us that deal.

You absolutely do that.

Free of Daks contract..

The #3 pick.

The 2nd QB taken last year and another first round pick.

That is how you team build and passing on that deal would be beyond idiotic.

Yeah if I heard that offer I'd have to pinch myself to make sure I was awake. But then I'd wake up.

Perhaps hypothetical topics are best left for forums meant for the female persuasion. Gossip and grapevine nonsense is not what real men do. ;) Just look at the first 20-something posts. LOL

I wasn't a fan of Tua, classic college quarterback in my opinion although many on this forum wanted Jerry to draft him...I don't think Dak is going to be traded at this point, although March 9th is a key date and if Dallas doesn't get a deal done with the two sides far apart, you never know, Dallas might trade him for Miami's two first round picks and Tua but like I said I don't think Dak is getting traded although I wouldn't be apposed to it, I just don't think Dak is an elite quarterback demanding top tier money especially what happened to Wentz and Goff after signing there overpriced deals....one gone, the other days away from being traded.

No team in the NFL wants Dak at 30+ million a year.
The only buffoon GM in the NFL is ours and he is inept enough to give Dak millions once again.
I think you're off by a digit there.....
turn that 3 in to a 4
more like 40 million/ year

Btw, the Dolphins would not trade TWO 2021 1st round picks.
I'm not sure anyone has ever traded that much in draft capital for a player.
Ditka did something almost as expensive (gave up a whole draft, but that was just one 1st) for the first overall pick to select a player.
Maybe one of this year's firsts and a future one....maybe...but not both

Man that would be tough but I think would do it but I may also ask for a third. I like Dak though.

Couple of years? They're both up for extensions after this season.

I think there's only one player in the entire league that Miami would make that trade for. Patrick Mahomes. Everyone else is either too old or just not good enough to get the 3rd and 18th pick in the draft along with Tua. Any other player and Miami would be getting ripped off.

Dolphins laugh and hang up.

As a fin fan I wouldn't want them to do that deal.

Use the 3rd overall on Wilson/Fields if you aren't sold on Tua.

Or They should just sign him if the Cowboys franchise Tag him.

18th overall+22 1st> 3rd overall+18thovr+Tua

Most other fans like our guys more than lir own fans smh. Sadly it takes us losing some good players that are not appreciated and getting bad players, for some to realize when we have something good!

@MyFairLady Do you seriously think any team is going to trade for a QB who cannot pass a physical and wants $35-40M/year on a 4-year or 5 year contract with $75M+ guaranteed?

Dak cannot pass a physical right now. Dak will not be able to pass a physical by July or August at the earliest. No team is trading anything come August for Dak. Right now, no one can say that Dak won't start the season on PUP.

There will be no trade offers for Dak. Dak will receive no FA offers UNTIL he can pass a physical where he runs, cuts, and throws and proves he is healthy. No, teams are not going to accept an x-ray and a thumbs up from a doctor on a $175-200M contract. Sorry, but Dak has no value UNTIL he can pass a physical.

If for some very strange unlikely reason a team offers a first round pick for Dak, I would jump at the offer. I like Dak as the Cowboys' QB. I don't like him at $35-40M where the team has no shot at a SB. Had the team gone 5-0 with Dak at QB (making $31M/yr mind you) before getting hurt and then the wheels fell off, I would think differently. They weren't even close. The Atl game was really a loss, so they were 0-4 and barely leading the hapless, winless Giants in the 3rd quarter when Dak got hurt. Many will blame the defense. But going forward we will essentially have the same defense and the same QB making even more money.

Who are you saying wouldn't do the trade "because they are all Dak Homer's pulling the Jerry company line"? There is no "they" that makes decisions for the Cowboys without Jerry's approval.

In any case, this trade isn't happening, although if it were offered I think there is a good chance the Cowboys would do it. But nobody would trade anything remotely like that for a QB that isn't even under contract.
