I went to a convenient store to get a 6 pack of beer. So I could look through the apartment ads at the hotel I was at. The clerk was in front of the cooler. I was waiting for him to move as he was mopping the floor. Then he went to cover the cooler with a tarp.

I asked, to get some beer. He looked at me like I was trying to pull something over on him. This was 8:05 PM. He said you know I can't sale after 8:00. Told him I just got there that day, so he explained the laws there, can't sale after 8:00 PM. So kids can't come in and try to buy it. He said if you want a beer, go to a bar.

I just shook my head, said, well they like to promote drinking and driving here I guess. I went back to the hotel.

They don't sell beer, wine or spirits in convenience stores in CT.

There's a "convenient store" near me in Lakewood/Dallas that has a great selection of wine.....5$ up to $130 bottles.

Prosper is only 10 min drive from the Star, 15 min if you are in a Prius. It is a nice little town and this 711 is only about a mile from my house. I was just there 20 min back, wearing my Cowboys sweatshirt. The guy behind the counter asked me if I was a Cowboys fan and I said yes. He then said, guess who was here yesterday. I had read this thread in the morning and said yes I know Jerrah was here. He is building 500 houses in this town as he owns half the land here. There is also a big mansion here by Kroger which was on sale for about 12 mil and belonged to Deion Sanders. Dak lives in a gated community, so I cannot visit his ranch. :muttley:

everyone wants their 15 minutes of fame . All it takes these days is a cell phone or device. Nothing is scared anymore. Nothing is off the table. It is what it is.Yes, its kinda cool and somewhat funny that Jerry is buying wine at a convenient store, but man...I think the guy should have been satisfied with the pic of him and let it go. Maybe I am old school. If I was in his shoes,lets say I had my son with me, I would have quietly gotten the pic, thanked him, no fanfare, went home and made a copy of the picture and put it in my family photo album. But no, this guy IMO, ruins a special kinda cool moment by how he handled it. Maybe it bugs me too much. I am a purest I guess. Rant over.

good eye i had to blow it up that is what it is not bad wine maker i mean around 15-40 at total wine..so.

i need to get word to jerry he should try some cooper and thief red blend, aged in whisky bourbon barrels so its different but got little punch to it and goes with more many foods

PROSPER, Texas - Even with a mask, Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones is pretty recognizable, and he was spotted while out and about at a Prosper gas station Tuesday afternoon.

Steven Daniel Dansby said he’s still in shock a day after running into Jones.
Dansby said was out driving around while his girlfriend was at a job interview, and stopped at 7-Eleven in Prosper to grab some chips.

He noticed the clerk was acting a big odd, and then the clerk told him, "That’s Jerry Jones behind you."

I still believe that guy in the OG thread that said we were dupes if we believed the pic was real.
