The problem is that Dak has been stopped at every crucial games , with good and bad teams . His yards are system yards behinds top tier OL WR RB . He had 5 years to show what he can do and failed . Jerry is about to force Stephen to pay Dak 40 mil , and we will be screwed with a mediocre QB .
Curious to know What teams have Dak eastern alive ? He failed to score 1 TD against the lowly eagles defense last season . We were losing at home to the giants when he got hurt , and we were 1-4 with him .
Dude please if you are going to come at me at least have the decency to come with basic facts. Did you watch the games at all. The Cowboys were leading 24-23 when Dak got hurt and were driving to extend the lead. And we were 2-3 not 1-4. It's hard to take you seriously if you're going to come that weak. Dak has shown plenty whether you want to see it or not is immaterial. In his three playoff games the guy you say has been "stopped at every crucial games" the offense has scored 31, 24 and 22 points respectively. That's a solid 25.7 ppg in the playoffs.. Some might contend that playoff teams tend to have decent defenses.. Dak has never experienced being held under 22 points in a playoff game. If you think that's no big deal it might interest you to know that Tom Brady has led HIS teams to less than 22 points in the playoffs 15 times in 45 playoff starts. Aaron Rodgers has done it 7 times in 21 starts.. Romo managed to do it 4 times in his 6 playoff starts. How has Dak played in the playoffs? 64.1 completion percentage, 265 yards/game, 5 TDs 2 INTs. Two rushing TDs thrown in for good measure. 7 TDs to 2 turnovers in the playoffs. But you're right, playoff games are not "crucial" so those should not count.
The only reason Dak hasn't won more playoff games is that while his offense has been scoring 25.7 ppg his defense has been giving up 26.7 ppg. Prescott has had his shortcomings over these first 4 years.. but we knew from the git go that he was a raw prospect who would need some years to develop. Which he has and continues to do so. "Which teams has Dak eastern alive?" I will go ahead and autocorrect that for you and tell you to take your pick.. He has 7 career games of over 400 yards passing. He has 32 career games with a passer rating over 100. In 20 of those he had a passer rating greater than 110. . He has 19 games with at least 3 TD passes.. 20 if you count the playoff game against the Packers. I suspect whichever defense he had those performances against felt like they were "eaten alive." Or "eastern" if you prefer.
I should also point out that if in fact the Cowboys sign Dak and you hate him so much you are certainly free to not watch the team with this "mediocre QB." No need to put yourself through anymore suffering right?
