This whole Russell Wilson situation is insane. If the Seahawks part ways with Russell in his prime, they're insane.

Unless Dallas somehow trades Dak for Russell in some sense, I'm not sure I want Russell. It would just be way too much draft capital.
I have yet to hear if he's actually asking to be traded. The only ones that have publicly made that clear are Stafford, Watson and Wentz. And Wentz is puzzling unless he just wants out of PHL. They fired the coach that benched him to appease him and he still wants out.

The way those PHL fans are if they trade Wentz, they'll have to grease the light poles again. It's a strange custom. Be so filled with joy you just have to climb a light pole and shout to the world.

+1 and not just playoff but Super Bowl. You better believe they're well aware of his impact which exactly why if given the chance, they going hard after him.

Of course. When I say contender I mean SB. That team is tough to beat without a QB, put an elite QB on that team? Good luck.

IF this is true, roll your sleeves up coz things are about to get real......no doubt in my mind if the Seahawks make him available, Synder will outbid every team. Even if he has to mortgage the future ......3-4 1st rounders and starter.

Either way looks like we may as accept they are significantly upgrading their QB position.....just a matter of when/who. Damn......

if WFT ends up with Wilson, then they are the true threat in the NFC east.....they would leap frog everyone

Look. If Russell Wilson goes to WFT, we’re toast. The entire division is toast. We’ll need to shoot for the wildcard if he goes to WFT.

Too bad Russell doesn’t get to “choose” where he wants to go. If he gets traded for 3 1st’s, that’s it. He doesn’t get a say so. It’s not his decision to make.
Yes he does

He has a no trade clause in his current contract

He does get to choose

I guess I'm one of the few who doesn't think Wilson will make quite the impact being projected by many.

Why would he want to go from a team that has won 11 or more games five times in his career, to a team that has done it once in the last 30 years?

The SHawks want to rebuild.

that 30+ million per year QB contract will pay for a lot of new players.

Please can we read about the WFT monitoring the Russell Wilson situation from the NFL Zone rather than the CZ Fan Zone?

This is offseason media nonsense.

overblown, probably but the fact that Russ publicly called them out for failing to put a functioning oline in front of him can't be dismissed as anything less than him being very frustrated. Russ has never done or said anything that didn't support the team & his desire to be there nor would he unless he felt behind the scenes efforts had been unsuccesful & this was the next step to apply pressure to them.

exactly 100% tired of the garbage being allowed to clutter the CZ zone area when it has zero to do with te DC//unless trade happens ITS RUMORS ALL RUMORs and not Cowboy related because rumors are barely allowed on actual Cowboy content..

how many wentz threads do we need? watson? Wilson? WFT? all her eon our page..did click wrong is this NFL.com?

How many posters do we need coming into a thread to complain about the thread? Are you paying for space here? Want more threads for exalt or hammer the QB?

There is no rule that any poster has to go into every thread. That's kind of why there are headlines either inviting one in or in this case a warning.

We don't have the QB1 under contract and there are QB1's being talked about in trades. That indirectly affects this team and it is the off season and there's a lull in the action.

The famous wife wants him in New York.
He could have played that card when he got that last contract. Instead he let that get played as a card in the negotiation game.

I have not seen where he's even asking for a trade at this point. He's tired of taking the hits but I don't know what he expects, it's not like they haven't been trying to build the OL, they prefer to run the ball.

At the very least they win the East IMO. Now, who are the great teams in the NFC? A couple of other things to consider. Wilson's signing bonus is a big part of his cap hit. Washington would have him for three years at a great price. They also have a ton of cap space.

I don't think he's being traded, just playing along. Besides, Seattle's dead cap is at minimum 39M if they do. After this year would be better for them. But not a hell of a lot less.

Because he may want to play close to his hometown and skins D is better than Seattle’s right now. They would be instant SB contenders.
