You have to hand it to the Commanders. They're at least trying to get their front office right.

Meanwhile.....*Then put your little hand in mine. There ain't no hill or mountain we can't climb. .....Babe....I got you, Babe.* ..... ~smashing alarm clock~

Don’t worry. Heard through the grapevine Shy Jones Anderson is one of the highest ranked Madden players in the Metroplex. Very soon he’ll be ready to contribute to the mode seamless front office in the league.

Looks like Mayhew now has two ex-NFL GMs working for him in the FO.

And I love how Doug Williams still somehow has a FO role. Riding the success from Super Bowl 22 forever, I guess.

If you wanna call it that......he's been pretty much reduced to an icon w/o a voice. It appears Riveria made some sort of position working with the community and players. Hell, I think even Allen is still on the payroll.

You joke, but he already has a role in the scouting department.

It’s more then a record..

That’s a well built team with no QB.

I kinda disagree. Their offense lacks talent outside of McLaurin. Gibson is good, nothing spectacular like a Christian McCaffery, but a good cheap player to build with (as opposed to around). And the O-line is average at best as well.

They are really strong on the dline and that does cover up a bunch of weaknesses, their LBs are average at best and their secondary outside of Kendal Fuller are about the same.

And just due to the nature of poor drafting the next few years they have Jonathan Allen in the final year of his deal (this is his 5th year option in 2021) and after that Daron Payne (5th year option) as well as Matt Ioannidis in the final year of their deals. I just would be surprised if they are able to keep their d-line together beyond that point, so unless they land a really good QB, I think this 7 win season will be a flash in the pan.

Well.. A lot of people didn’t like Herbert if you remember and they had just drafted Haskins.

It’s rare to see a team like the Cardinals who quickly correct a mistake they made in the draft.
My point is we will be happy dealing with Chase Young and not Herbert. Franchise quarterbacks are hard to find. More people did not like Mahomes. You take the franchise potential quarterback unless you already have one. It was obvious from day one that Haskins was not a franchise quarterback.

the 49ers and shannhan have losing record now one good season in 4 for this staff? were worse then us last year with similar injury lists. Seriously somehow DC fans overlook our actual issues ie record Injuries' and give to other teams for falling into a 7-9 division win.. lol
Good lord. Shanahan is so overrated. He blew two Super Bowls

They transformed that team nicely in a short period of time and they did it with no QB.

They remind me of where the 49ers were before they acquired Jimmy G.

Yes, the one thing we knew Rivera was going to do was bring a tough defense to whatever team he coached. That's why I slightly favored him over McCarthy (since our offense was already our strength). Both took teams to Super Bowls, but Rivera did it with less at quarterback.

Good thing they didn't draft Herbert. I don't see Young as a difference maker like Herbert is. QB position much more valuable than DE.
Too bad they didn't draft Tua.

Yes but Chase Young is looking like a game wrecker and Tyron could retire any day now.

Funny that the backup backup QB from Wash might have played the best against Tampa during their playoff run.

Chase Young had 1 sack in 2 games against the Cowboys 2nd and 3rd and maybe 4th string OTs and backup QB. 3 TFL and 1 QB hit in 2 games against Dallas' backup OTs. And that is Chase Young playing on a stacked DL.

I am not worried about Tyron Smith and Collins retiring. I'd trade both of them now if I could. Get something now before they really decline.

People here act like Washington is a QB away from the greatest show on turf mixed with the 85 Bears and coached by the Hoodie
I don’t know why they overrate them. They just sucked less than the division. They are not better than a healthy Cowboys team no matter what people say.

EXACTLY one game better then us and we had the most i injuries in the league and used 4 qbs wow super impressive ..they got consolation prize that the eagles and DC had rough injury dilemma at all key positions. They played our 3rd string team twice..yet fans think thats impressive and the WFT is pointing up?
It makes no sense all I can do is laugh lol.
