1. Goff- Rams/Lions
2. Wentz- Eagles/Colts
3. Brisset- Patriots/Colts

Paxton Lynch- Out of NFL
Connor Cook- Out of NFL
Cody Kessler- Out of NFL
Christian Hackenberg- Out of NFL
Cardale Jones- Out of NFL

This is assuming Dak is at least franchise tagged.

Big freaking deal! What a milestone. I laugh at you.

Technically this isn't even true.

Dak was not under contract with the Cowboys before either Wentz or Goff were moved.

Easily one of the 5 best quarterbacks drafted the entire last decade.

Russel Wilson
Mahomes
Andrew Luck
Watson
Dak

If remaining with the team that drafted you is a big deal for a QB then what does it say about Tom Brady?

I still think a lot of NFL teams take Wentz over Dak if all things are equal.

Not a chance. That conversation ended at least two years ago.

I’m generally sympathetic to the argument that it’s dangerous to overpay even at QB if the guy isn’t truly special. I think Dak’s right on that border, and that’s what’s made his negotiation so tough. But there isn’t a legitimate argument anymore that he’s not clearly the best QB of his draft class. It’s not close.

I don't think so.

I think they get similar results on similar teams and Wentz still has far more upside.

If you're taking Dak over Wentz I think it's because you have such a well built roster that you just don't want a QB who could possibly screw things up.

But Wentz still has far more upside then Dak.

Now would NFL teams take Goff over Dak? No.. I don't think so. But I do think Wentz gets the nod from most teams.

A team like Tennesee or Pittsburgh? I think they take Dak over Wentz. A team like... Denver? I think they're taking Wentz.

You don’t pay non elite QBs like they are elite..

Goff and Wentz were thought more highly of them Dak.. Then they got paid.

Wait until we pay Dak like he's an MVP candidate and has been carrying the team the past 5 seasons.

Let’s see..

Wentz was perfectly fine until this season.. Beats Dak Head 2 Head to go to the playoffs when Dak couldn’t get our team in the end zone.

Dak nearly starts the year 0-4 but has nice numbers because of lots of volume against awful pass defenses trying to hold a lead with arguably the best WR group in football.

Wentz has a team completely decimated by injuries.

If you want to say it’s this clear cut thing then fine..

I feel like Dak is getting way too much hype for some empty calorie stats through our first 4 games and Wentz has been over scrutinized for a team surrounded by chaos.

Brady speaks for himself, he has clearly earned that right.
The GOAT.
Its not even what this thread is about so dont disrespect the OP.

You are ridiculous. Brady is a QB like any other for the purposes of this discussion. You just don't like the answer to my question because it blows the premise of the OP out of the water. In today's NFL, players switch teams and go on to have productive careers. It's not a big deal. The OP is making a pointless point that says nothing about any of the QBs drafted in 2016.

Look at what Wentz just netted in his trade. If Dak were available, he’d be the top available player in free agency. Teams don’t just look past the terrible season Wentz just put out there. The Eagles had him on a better long term deal than Dak will be on and they just dumped his contract. Yeah, I don’t think it’s even close between those two guys right now.

What would Dak net in a trade? What is a team giving up to trade for a slightly above average QB wanting best QB in the league money?

What team is giving up multiple 1's and then 20% or more of their cap for a low upside player?

The other thing , people don't factor in is that Wentz is injury prone. I'm certain for the talent he does have , teams look at his history of injuries

I agree, team owners vacationing with QB1s is very important

Right! You have to fix him, and then there are still availability issues.
