Isn’t this the 5th or 6th thread on this same topic this week?

I think so, but 6 is a very resonable number compared to Zeke is fat and slow, Jaylon doesn't know how to play football, DLAW is a fraud, etc. threads. Honestly 6 is a breath of fresh air, haha

If remaining with the team that drafted you is a big deal for a QB then what does it say about Tom Brady?

Good point, but Brady didn't leave the Patriots until he was well past 40 and gave them five titles. The Rams and Eagles trading Goff and Wentz away is the equivalent of New England giving up on Brady in 2006.

Easily one of the 5 best quarterbacks drafted the entire last decade.

Russel Wilson
Mahomes
Andrew Luck
Watson
Dak
Except for Mahomes, none of those are on the level of Rodgers, Brady, Brees, Peyton, Warner, Rivers, Romo, Roethlisberger, or even younger Flacco.

The QB position is in a downward spiral. It's up to guys like Burrow, Lawrence, Murray and Mayfield to save it. Don't hold your breath.

The rules are very friendly for quarterbacks today, but the level of play leaves much to be desired.

It reminds me of the early and mid 1990's. I was young then, but that's when QB's drafted included the likes of Jeff George, Andre Ware, David Klingler, Rick Mirer, and Heath Shuler. It was up to guys like Aikman, Favre, Young, Marino, Moon, Kelly, and Elway to keep the league's QB play on an elite level.

Brady is the GOAT.
Brees took 8 years to make the playoffs.
Romo (average QB) was the THIRD most successful QB in the NFC East until Manning and Mcnabb retired/got old.
Rodgers hadn’t even won a playoff game until Daks current age.
Peyton Manning hadn’t even won a playoff game until he was a year older than daks current age.

lol you just start watching football this year?

1. Goff- Rams/Lions
2. Wentz- Eagles/Colts
3. Brisset- Patriots/Colts

Paxton Lynch- Out of NFL
Connor Cook- Out of NFL
Cody Kessler- Out of NFL
Christian Hackenberg- Out of NFL
Cardale Jones- Out of NFL

This is assuming Dak is at least franchise tagged.

Interestingly, Paxton Lynch and Connor Cook were preferenced over Dak in that draft. We tried moving back into round 1 for Paxton, And If Oakland hadn't jumped on Connor Cook at the top of round 4, Connor would be wearing a cowboy uniform........

This post is lunacy. Dak has zip in common with Brady, Brees,, Rodgers, Manning......... what game are you watching? Dak is 9-11 in his last 20 games as a starting QB He doesn't have the accuracy or arm talent of those guys. Dallas knows this and thats why Jerry has been dragging his feet getting Dak signed to an elite contract. Even Jerry knows that Dak isn't as good as Romo.

Manning and Brady had some of the worst arms in the league. What did Vinny win with the jets again? His arm may as well have counted in the nuclear bomb census.

As for Dak, to each their own but if you redraft all the quarterbacks taken in the past decade it’s likely Dak is going Top 5-10. If we get a mid level defense and Dak starts under center I believe we would’ve at least made the NFC championship game. We were the number 1 offense in points scored the 3rd and 4th quarter and #3 in points scored the 1st quarter. pair that would a defense that wasn’t historically awful-this could’ve been a good year. If Dak is back and we can’t make a NFC champ game no harm in starting over:clap:

Brady and Manning had great arms. Brady still has a better arm than Dak even at 43. Vinny? Gee, why don't you throw in Jeff george.

They can still go on to have great careers. Oh, by the way, Brady gave the Patriots 6 titles and just won a 7th with the Bucs.

Jeff and Vinny had some of the best arms out of all quarterbacks since the game started. Didn’t mean much.

Brady’s arm is average compared to a bum like Cutler. Arm strength doesn’t mean much for quarterbacks at the professional level.

What this says is the market has corrected its self.

After these teams overpaid and tried to await their return on investment they failed spectacularly.

I would never pay Dak $40 million and put that much pressure on the team to succeed with him as the QB.

He has already proven he can't play that well to be the difference.
