Not at all. People who are misinformed and misguided always fail to see the issues clearly. But some I understand at least initially if they’ve been mislead.

I pride myself being on the right side of history on this issue. I was in the 60’s and 70’s and will be again. You’ll see even if we have to cram it down their throats again.
You wouldn't know the right side of the history if it smacked you upside the head at 65 MPH, especially in your hate-filled, intolerant little echo chambers.

Goodell and the leagues stance supporting the players passionate efforts against social injustice is going to be on the right side of history. The hate is on the opposition . And why this issue still haunts us.

The league didn’t initially provide enough support. But they eventually moved in the right direction. Hopefully more fans will see the light.

That’s fine. It enables me to get the message out. Without the rebuttals I often am not spurred with the responses. Thanks

Goodell has been good for the league and more fans need to see. It’s an important message.

Lol. Is that what you're doing? Educating?

"All those who oppose me are ignorant."

Great stuff, Greg. It's been a while since you've gone over the edge like this. I was beginning to think you'd mellowed out.

Please describe this hate you see. I'm not sure I'm clear about to what you're referring. Maybe we can help you through this. I've heard talking through your problems is great therapy.

Not ignorant but misguided and misinformed.

I see it more as enlightening.

Not everyone exposes themselves to the perspectives which the core issues originated. They are influenced by rhetoric that opposes these issues for their own personal agendas and public posturing.

These forums provide an opportunity to express your message. You’re more than welcome to express your message on these issues. I’d be interesting in hearing them instead of just opposing mine.

So far all I’ve heard is opposition to players using their stage when it’s an issue you don’t agree with. I’d like to hear why you don’t agree with it.

Not ignorant, just unable to discern the truth.
You’re free to begin you’re own thread on why you are not in support of Goodell and the leagues support of these issues. I’d love to hear you’re thoughts on what you believe the truths to be instead of just trolling mine.

Take on the issues instead of the individual. Tell us why the players stance on social injustice isn’t the truth. And the owners and Commish shouldn’t be supporting their stance.

You would.

Not everyone exposes themselves to the perspectives which the core issues originated. They are influenced by rhetoric that opposes these issues for their own personal agendas and public posturing.

Not everyone lives in their own bubble like you do. Here's something you haven't considered- people understand the issues better than you and still disagree with your opinion.

What issue would you like me to discuss? So far, it's just been your misguided love for Roger Goodell.

I have no problems with players stating their beliefs. Unlike you, I don't put these guys on pedestals. I can say, "man, that guy's good at football but he's a moron on "x."

But strictly from a business perspective, it's foolish to alienate a customer over an issue not related to your product. You want the NFL to be more than football while a large section of fans just want to watch football. Instead of respecting that, you call them, "misguided," "misinformed," "rednecks" etc. All the while never having to be confronted with substance because it's verboten here.

This is the Goodell thread. Why start another? Can't take the heat?

Don't cry about being attacked. Be a big boy and defend your opinion. I've been telling you why they shouldn't jump into this stuff- it's bad for business.

Define social injustice and I'll let you know what's right or wrong about it.

I'll add- for all your talk of wanting to, "enlighten," you've made no effort in that regard.

If you don’t know what it is you really shouldn’t be in the discussion.

Again, you’ve yet to offer anything but attack me personally.

But you’re ok with the athletic entertainers promoting issues you agree with. I’d argue the NFL isn’t just a football league. It’s sports entertainment at the highest level. These are entertainers who perform on national tv who’s craft is football.

It’s common for entertainers in all fields using their stage to promote issues they feel strongly about. This is just an issue this segment doesn’t agree with. And the reason they don’t needs to be called out.
