They don’t have the 12th round anymore! Lol

Actually I would trade him and give them a 6th or 7th to take on the contract.
I know you are joking - in part - but I suspect this is an emotional response to being disappointed he isn't playing as well as hoped, and isn't the player we thought he might become after the season he had a couple of years ago. I don't think there is any question he could be traded for at least a 4th or 5th round pick, and maybe a 3rd round pick. He is, after all, only 25 years old, and has been a Pro-Bowler and makes a boatload of tackles. I know not as many of those tackles are near or behind the line of scrimmage as we would hope, but it certainly means there is a skill set that a team would be interested in working with.

Um no.. There was no hype on Tyron Smith at that time.

I posted that during USCs 1st game of the season.. He was a nobody and everyone was talking about their left tackle Matt Khalil I believe which is who I tuned in to watch and then saw Tyron.

I posted that September 2nd 2010. First week of college football season. He was drafted April 2011.
yes there was. he was the top LT in the draft and he was in the top 10 on almost all draft rankings.

like I said, 100s on this board were arguing between smith and watt......he was linked to cowboys on many draft boards...

you are no draft guru my friend..... I can give you list of players I have liked in the past and how well they have done in the league....and those I didn't like and how bad they turned out despite their draft rankings.

As long as Jerry isn't the Leonardo DiCaprio character in this storyline I'm cool with it.

I can see it now, GM Risen Star's first meeting with Jerry:

Jerry could be the Walter 'Monk' McGinn character.
You could give him the minority vote.

Your lack of comprehension skills are showing again.

He was not hyped before the season. He was a nobody. I'm glad you and the rest of the world found out about him several months later.

My post was long before there was a peep about him as a draft prospect.

Is that dude an idiot? Did he forget that Tyron was regarded to be a generational level talent? Like, maybe the best since Larry Allen??? Funny how some people’s memories turn to schight when it doesn’t fit their narrative.

lol.. My gosh..

Can you read and comprehend what people say? Answer yes if yes.

Then go back and look at the timeline of my post and when I said this about Tyron Smith and then look when he was drafted.

keep up buddy, he was rated as one of the top players in college before the season and in many draft publications as one of the top LTs and players to watch. as the season wore on and he showed, his hype went up and ended up as a legit top 10 draft pick.

not sure what all this is about and what you are trying to prove? that you are a good scout? good GM? that you know how to run a football team? if yes, my response. "you can't be serious"....like I said, you are a legend in your own mind and its pretty lonely in there.

He was a right tackle.

I believe he even played Right Tackle for us as a rookie.

I'd be interested to see anyone hyping him as an NFL prospect before the 2010 season. Even still. I never saw it. The hype was all about their other guy.

he thinks he is a great talent evaluator. he talks about 100s of players, misses on 99%, and less than a 1% turn out and then he claims he is a great evaluator because he called it..

he had a list of 4 to 6 QBs as NFL ready type QBs, none made it in the league. he also claims he called Mahomes, so now he calls himself a QB guru. forget the 10s of them he missed out on, but hey, Mahomes......

I give him credit, he did admit he missed out on Watson.....

so here is your chance, pick 200 players, say each is going to be great. just come back and talk about the one you hit on and we can call you a guru LOL

btw, I tell you and I am being honest. I saw Elway play in college, just one game and I said this guy was going to be great in NFL, any team would be lucky to draft him....I did. I swear. before all the hype. no lying.....there was no message boards back then. but I will get my friend to vouch for me.

I can pick QBs like nobody's business.

Well if my opinion sucks so much I really wish you would stop going around and crying about my posts because if I shared the same opinion as you I probably wouldn't go around trying to constantly discredit that person. I just wouldn't care.

Anybody that didn’t name Risen Star as the best potential GM on this board, is biased and has an opposing agenda. He has consistently stated his opinions on team matters and he is consistently right. We should be in awe that he wastes his time posting with all of us wannabes. His “likes” are unequaled and he knew that Wentz should have been a Cowboy and Dallas would already have a couple more Super Bowl trophies. He also predicted that Dallas would not make the Super Bowl with Dak at the QB position.

Well I feel like I should give some kind of acceptance speech at this point.

I just got off the phone with Robert. He has graciously conceded. Besides a thank you for this overwhelming show of support let me make one thing perfectly clear to those that voted for me in this landslide victory. I hear your voice. If I can't get Wentz, I will get Darnold. You have my word.
I would hire you as Rowdy's replacement in a heartbeat
