um, m read the article its good new snot kneejerk they will never play again lots of overreactions obviously didnt read the article and also feel they are doctors who treated them..hmm

FRISCO - Amid speculation about issues - injury and otherwise - with the two stalwart Dallas Cowboys offensive tackles - comes good news about their rehab progress and, presumably, their 2021 plans.

Regarding the "health of the offensive line,'' reports Jane Slater of NFL Network, "I’m told left tackle Tyron Smith has been a regular in the gym and has been successful in his rehab (and that) La’el Collins is already working out with offseason position coach.''

All in all, good news for two of Dak Prescott's protectors.

Or it is all in all misleading information. "successful in rehab" does not mean the problem is gone, or back to a 100 percent, or if Collins is doing a full range of work out movement. Or if they have been cleared for physical activity. As in, could Collins stand in and handle 15 full reps against DLAW going 100percent, or a game type situation

I don't disagree, but collins has also had years where he has struggled, and he has had one really good year. So, an injury is not good

I was pointing out that the quote you used is written in a way that doesn't actually give any real information.

I am also very skeptical of any news story i read, hear or see. That has its negative side

The OL will be back with a vengeance. They will be fine.

Well you can believe that. You can also believe in Alice in Wonderland.

Fact is that for 3 years in a row its gotton worse with TS' health and LTs hip injury isnt something minor.

I'll wait and see what comes of this before pretending to know things about their health. It's all speculation and people just choose which side they want to argue for but none of us have a clue.

Don't know how to read into this. But the report says Collins is "already" working with position coaches. Does this mean he's done rehabbing from the hip injury?

Either way, good news has been in short supply and if Smith and Collins are a "go" the 2021 offseason is starting strong.

Making it through a 19 game season is another story. If if the playoffs taught us anything, OL is important in the offseason.

Even if Smith misses some time, if he's back half the time, Collins is back full time, and Martin comes back full strength, this oline is radically upgraded from what we had most of last year.
Dalton had to feel he was a bit snake-bitten coming to a team with a good Oline and ending up with what we eventually put out there.

Bodes well for 2021
Their history of injuries doesn’t give anybody confidence I either tackle playing all the games while healthy.

Cool, so they both have trade value. Work those phones, Jerry. Get what you can now.

Sell high, buy low.

Sure would be nice to see some video evidence. The camera doesn’t lie.
That’s just what we need having to draft two OT’s
That should fix the defense

I think people see his rating and are familiar with his name, but most draft reports think he will move inside because he struggles with speed rushers outside.
Spencer Brown or Radunz are very close talent-wise and can be had later. Creed Humphrey is another name to watch.

I think Knight and Steele showed starter potential and will do just fine with a year of strength and experience. They played well for rookies. Cam Erving might be back. But, yeah need to draft an OT anyways if one is BPA.

It is a weird draft for the number 10 pick, I say take slater.

It's an unfortunate draft for us for pick 10. What's available doesn't align with our needs.

I won't do the Slate argument again - I'm against it, but it wouldn't cry either - but we sure coulda used some super stud 3T or FS around 10.

So many starting needs on defense, but the players aren't there, and really except for DE, I don't *want* to draft a defender at 10 unless they're a true freak. Just too high for non-premium positions, and unlike many, I don't consider CB a premium position. DE and freaky single high FS and 3T.

Given what we need, and what's available, I'm on #TeamTradeBack.
