It's an unfortunate draft for us for pick 10. What's available doesn't align with our needs.

I won't do the Slate argument again - I'm against it, but it wouldn't cry either - but we sure coulda used some super stud 3T or FS around 10.

So many starting needs on defense, but the players aren't there, and really except for DE, I don't *want* to draft a defender at 10 unless they're a true freak. Just too high for non-premium positions, and unlike many, I don't consider CB a premium position. DE and freaky single high FS and 3T.

Given what we need, and what's available, I'm on #TeamTradeBack.

What about a WR

I think Knight and Steele showed starter potential and will do just fine with a year of strength and experience. They played well for rookies. Cam Erving might be back. But, yeah need to draft an OT anyways if one is BPA.

That was the 2nd year for Knight. He'll be a RFA next year. I see "backup you can live with finishing out a season with". I don't see a guy we'd ever *want* to start, though for a while Knight showed hints of "good enough value to start because so cheap". I like making use of cheap players. But when was the last time Jerry cheaped out at LT?

We've also got that Hyatt guy still with 1 accrued season. He was hyped a couple of seasons back, but got the "stash you on the PS" injury. Marcus Henry has been hanging around forever on the PS too. Sill no accrued seasons for him.

For us? This year? At 10? No.

I didn't want a WR last year either, but Lamb was too good a deal to pass up. We did need a third anyway, and he solves our WR issues for the next decade.

There was a thread on trading Gallup for a 3 and a 4 from Miami. I'm all over that. I'm all for reducing our investments tied up in WR. Cashing out Gallup is one way. He should be gone regardless in 2022. Then we move on from Cooper when Lamb needs his first free agent contract. Earlier, if Cooper is not up playing up to his contract.

Sounds like they’ll both be healthy, but can they stay healthy is another issue. Hip, backs, necks can flare up in an instant. They can also cause people to compensate technique that can lead to other injuries if they are not 100%.

Im not sure they go T at pick 10, but I’d be shocked if they didn’t use one of their first 3 picks on oline.

Dallas can get out of Collins contract after 2021.

they can draft a RT in the first to replace him.

no way they pay him 10 mill per in 2022-24.

Time to put the Great Wall back on the field again. Getting both OT's back is a great start.

agree.

huge decline in the OL last season. Even Martin missed the Pro Bowl.

Biadasz is for real though.

I am not a fan of Philbin, who Is big buddies with The HC. His job was saved because of the injuries. Too bad for us.

knight can’t play LT and Steele needs more work.

they need a RT in the draft. Pick one in the first.

True but Tyron should had the surgery years ago. Whether it was a bulging, partially herniated or herniated disc, discs do not heal on NFL players. I expect teh time off should help with the knee and elbow issue also. As for Collins if the bone on bone in the hip was a lie then awesome, if it was not a lie I don't see how he could ever play again.

Collins will try to play because he is due 38.5 million through 2021-24.

But Dallas can cut him after and 2021 and save big $$$.

I'd draft Slater anyway because I give Tyrone 3 games before he's out or playing hurt.

Slater is likely a day 1 LG probowler and then he's ready to move out the moment Tyron goes down, and he will go down

I think Collins is the weakest.

we can’t win with Knight and Steele. They are average at best.

Agreed. I know we want to find a diamond in the rough, and hope that last season at least resulted in something positive in terms of player development, but I doubt that either of these guys has a long career. Knight is just not capable vs speed or power. Steele might have a chance at sticking around, but we'll see.

It would be dumb to assume these players can be counted on to stay healthy longterm. Start drafting future OL starters this year and whatever you get from Smith and La’El is gravy.

You can definitely win with Knight as your primary backup. I agree you can't win anything significant with Steele however but Knight is not a Championship stopper by any means!

Steele can suffice for a game or two. He sufficed for a few wins last year.

The Collins news towards the end of the season is scary but he seems to be on track. Smith needs to be replaced. Great player. Wasted by Jerry. He plays too important a position to have the constant injury risk. Love the guy but it’s time to move on. T should be the first or second pick in the draft then load up on defense.

thats ridiculous, first if he may come back and play like 2019 and then what you think 10mil is a lot for starting RT? thats insane. He had one bad offseason as most of the world had with Rona and came in out of shape but the injurys was a fluke and this si sports and the NF:L and Injuries' are part for the game..sorry but writing the man off after one injury and bad offseason is ridiculous. The last time he suited up he was top RT..

get over it stop the armchair GM bs..LC will be fine when hes not then we can talk replacements
