I'd draft Slater anyway because I give Tyrone 3 games before he's out or playing hurt.

Slater is likely a day 1 LG probowler and then he's ready to move out the moment Tyron goes down, and he will go down

he is ?????????????? says you

id 'puke id we draft him

You are entitled to your opinion but there's not a team in the league that would be unhappy to see Slater join, and there's also not a team in the league that couldn't find a place to start him.

Well good thing I never said pass on anyone. I just said Slater is a good pick at 10. Surtain and Farley would be good picks too.

That said, Moehrig at 10 would be dumb as hell and no team in the NFL has him remotely in their top 10

Everytime I hear an injury report saying "they are healthy" it actually makes me vomit in my mouth. Are teams that stupid, are we fans that stupid? Of course these guys "may" be healthy, but wait for the first ankle roll or get knocked on their backs and all the healthy mumbo jumbo gets tossed out of the window. We cannot think either guy will stay healthy, it's just how life in the NFL goes. This is why these guys have to make their money when they can, the body cannot hold up to daily beatings it takes. The biggest mistake we can make is assume even if they start the season healthy, is that they will end it even close to healthy.

I think Knight and Steele showed starter potential and will do just fine with a year of strength and experience. They played well for rookies. Cam Erving might be back. But, yeah need to draft an OT anyways if one is BPA.
Knight to me can be the swing tackle
He played pretty solid by year end
Steele got better but he’s only a RT but great depth if you have multiple injuries and who knows, he may really grow into a good player

I think people see his rating and are familiar with his name, but most draft reports think he will move inside because he struggles with speed rushers outside.
It’s fairly common for college tackles to be pro guards
I believe he even has center experience
If a team needs a guard then he’s a great prospect but I don’t think a great tackle prospect. And sure not at 10

....I think both these guys have had their day. One always hurt, the other has mental issues whether he can play or not.

id say RT is the one to worry about.

Selecting a RT with the 1st pick makes the most sense, unless we want to go with Steele again.

Time to put the Great Wall back on the field again. Getting both OT's back is a great start.
The great wall ended with Fred beard leaving, the best we can hope for is a leaky dam..ie..Conner Williams, and a shaking foundation..ie..smith,collins and martin.

It's time to begin the process of replacing Smith, he can't be relied on.
