Dak haters, Dak lovers...such simple terms. Some of us just don't think the Jones boys are smart enough to build a contender while paying a QB $35-40M per season.

Their best hope is to luck into a season like 2016, minus the obligatory divisional round choke job.
Good post and basically summarizes the underlying deep seeded issue at hand over the past 25 years. Although signing or letting Dak go is controversial, its not near the true problem of the DC.

Rockport is like a chihuahua chasing a car. He likes to bark but doesn't know what to do when he gets a hold of the car. Most of us know that a chihuahua is about to come running at us so we slow down and try not to hit it.

How is that any different then anyone else on this site?

Brady raises the standard the moment he signs his contract. He also threw 40 TD passes, got vets to come play cheaper, and oh btw has 7 rings.

You don't know what Brady would have done here. He changes expectations. Ask the Bucs. A team lucky to make the playoffs without him.

What did Brady do in 2019?

Actually it's the other way around. Once I prove you haters wrong you just slink away or attack childishly.

He had a down year after winning his 6th Super Bowl.
Look at this way, Dak at his 40 million or more leads the team nowhere with all those intangibles and leadership qualities, the looks and emotions of Jerry in the suite will be worth it as the yearly failures that Dak will provide pile up. Priceless, there are somethings money can't buy.

They are stupid if they think they can pay him that kind of money and win a championship. Yes.. They are idiots and they would never put their money where their mouth is.

But...

You're not going to hear ex-Cowboys in the media be very critical of current Cowboys. It's just not how they operate.

Of course Dak is a good QB. Good QB's don't make Mahomes money and win championships usually. We got Eli Manning as our guy that had a cap crushing deal win it and a long list of those who didn't.

and that is your view however it is not the only view. As for the ex Cowboys saying anything critical? lol BS that is such a cop out anytime someone has a different view then all of a sudden they don't mean it, that is a load of crap. Jimmy has never pulled a punch on Jerry nor has Aikman but now they don't want to say anything negative? lol stop

Have your view but do not kid yourself it is not the only view

You as a prime example of his schooling, just more proof that he doesn't know much about anything.

Why are you attacking me? I'm just the messenger I'm not the one doing the actual schooling? You just getting up from a nap or something?

Cowboys management leaking nonsense to the media again so when Dak doesn't sign a LTD they can point the finger. Same with the so-called "Dak wants just below Mahomes $ and wants 'respect.'" Pure bs coming from Cowboys mgmt and not Dak or his agent. Like him or not, that is not how Dak has ever communicated.

Exactly. Dak has never been anything but professional as a representative of this team. Until I hear it come straight from him I’m not going to believe anyone’s take on this until it’s done.
