Since you Dak haters seem to like Jane Slaters take, here’s another one.
This gets me kind of excited. Let's go Dak!

You should make a blues song about Cowboys fans and their quarter century plight and yet they're still here.On down the road to the bank.

At what cost?If you want to win a super bowl you make the bold move for Wilson. Can't believe he won 12 games last year with that team.
Well theres gotta be away that you could do a sign and trade or something to that effect to add Dak into the deal. If you could add Dak in or make it known that he's part of the deal then I wouldn't be opposed to giving up 2 firsts and a 3rd or two down the road on top of Dak. The first this yr would hurt cause it's the tenth pick but every pick after that would probably be in the 30s so I really don't care if we miss out on a Taco next yr and the two 3s would be so late it would be like a conditional 3rd which well prob pickup for loosing Byron Jones anyways. At what cost?
I don't like it. I think it's a treading water move and I don't think Seattle settles for that deal, given the cap hit they'll take from trading him and the cap hit from Dak, but whatever keeps you in Dreamland...Well theres gotta be away that you could do a sign and trade or something to that effect to add Dak into the deal. No but just when you think these deals could never happen they happen. Stafford, Wentz, Hopkins etc.I don't like it. Did you really think this thing through?

Right on. I do get that and you're right, but:No but just when you think these deals could never happen they happen. Stafford, Wentz, Hopkins etc.
Nothing wrong with that. It’s the guys who have crapped on him from day 1, every thread, every post and every day that I have a problem with. What about us guys who like Dak, and like Jane, and don’t really care if they pay him or not,
but realize it might not be a good idea to pay him 40 million.
Yep, that's about right...Dak haters, Dak lovers...such simple terms. Some of us just don't think the Jones boys are smart enough to build a contender while paying a QB $35-40M per season.
Their best hope is to luck into a season like 2016, minus the obligatory divisional round choke job.
Let me just say this is one of the weirdest negotiations that's ever happened in Dallas. None of this really makes any sense. None of it.Didn’t think it warranted a brand-new thread but I just saw this from the DMN... nothing Earth-shattering.
With the deadline for the Cowboys to place the franchise tag on quarterback Dak Prescott a week away, multiple sources said Tuesday night talks for a new contract are progressing. One source characterized discussions as, “more productive than they have been,” in previous months.

My best guess: this is Stephen’s show now.Let me just say this is one of the weirdest negotiations that's ever happened in Dallas. None of this really makes any sense. None of it.
