I'd only restructure Cooper and Martin.

Keep Lawrence's deal the way it is and allow some flexibility with moving on from him next season in case his production stagnates or declines.
I agree. Martin and Cooper are safer bets. DLaw is inconsistent and has injury issues. I feel Cooper does a lot for our offense besides catching passes. He opens things up for Gallup, Lamb, Schultz, Devin. Without Cooper I can see Lamb's and Gallup's numbers going down. Also Cooper helps keep a safety honest so that helps Zeke and the Ewok needs all the help he can get.

Fish knows about as much as us. I cant remember the last time this guy actually broke something we were unaware of.
I don't bro, the other day I learned he really likes peanuts. That was something I was unaware of.

I commented in another thread that most if not all of their larger contracts are either underperforming or have injury concerns.

They are in a terrible spot in that way.

I fear they restructure just to compete now, its not enough, then need to pay the price down the road also.
Well you’re always negative about everything so no one pays you any mind.

No one?

Is that how you describe yourself?

How else would you know if I'm negative.

8k likes tell me I may not be the only dissatisfied customer.

You have your thoughts and I have mine. Respect it please.

I don’t respect constantly negative people. No one wants to be around them.

Yeah, he's a spray and pray journalist.

That’s awesome! He’s the only sports writer/journalist/figure I’ve ever blocked on Twitter because I called him out on something a year or so ago and he wouldn’t stop trying to hammer me about it.

Yeah and I don't respect people that think it's ok to tell others how to think.

Gotta say though, its tough to continue to come up with so many negative things about this amazingly successful franchise.

It’s sure easy for you to think of the negatives all the time instead of some of the positives some of the time.

restructuring is the right decision when the cap grows as it does. For instance a 20 million cap hit this year would be a much bigger percentage of the cap then 3 years down the road.

How is this news worthy at all. Any football fan with half a brain knows and has known since the end of the season that Dallas was going to restructure both of those contracts and probably several others unless of course they though Dak was going to sign for $1 million a year, such a great fantasy that is. Fish can be good sometimes but mostly he is doing it to sell his media presence, in fact most of the stuff we here from the media is made up rumors for us to read them.

With all these tv deal coming up . Cooper is a no brainer only 26 , Lawrence is a lot better than people think and he goes all out so I don’t mind him either, Martin is one of the best in the league he’s another one. Wouldn’t touch smith , cut Jaylon lol,

He's great at breaking the obvious and well known stories. This just in Dallas will draft players in the draft brought to you by useless fish report.

Dak already said he wants to see Cooper and Zeke be the highest paid and Jerry has no need to do negotiate for hometown discounts. That would be quite hypocritical of “the leader Dak” to take money away from Cooper, the guy who saved Dak’s career, for some extra pocket change.

You have that wrong. Dak saved Amari's career lol.

I think Dak is the most likely candidate for a restructured deal. Just saying...

https://www.bloggingtheboys.com/201...at-hasnt-happened-since-quincy-carter-in-2003

The third year signal-caller has yet to even eclipse 200 passing yards in a single game this season. This streak goes back to last year making it five games in a row where Dak didn’t cross the threshold. That’s not good.

It’s been a long time since this happened to a Cowboys quarterback. How long has it been exactly? Let your mind roll back 15 years, all the way to the Quincy Carter days.

“It’s important for all these guys to get every bit of their worth. I want to see Zeke the highest-paid. I want to see Amari the highest-paid. I want to see myself up there. And I don’t think any of that is too far-fetched. Because at the end of the day, when it’s all said and done, a year or two later, you’re not going to be the highest-paid. That’s just the way the game goes.”
