I mean they cant even afford to tag Dak right now. Sure they could with a couple of restructures and releases but, when you consider the cap situation, I have a feeling the FA dumpster diving of the past will look good by comparison to what they will end up doing this offseason. Also wouldn't surprise me to see multiple trade downs in the draft so they can get more, cheap talent.

The only thing I can think of is that maybe they're hoping someone bites and gives up two 1st rounders. Not gonna happen, but maybe worth a try in a year not too deep with safeties in the draft. I'd be shocked if it was an exclusive tag.
