I can't stand when either side automatically assumes stuff in these cases. And, of course, then berates anyone who doesn't see it as they do. Sad day.Exactly, any time I see a thread regarding an athlete associated with some sexual assault charge the majority of posters feign objectivity and "looking at both sides of argument" but almost always lampoon the woman as some money-hungry gold-digger.
Serve time for what? Aside from the one accusation of forced stuff, is slapping your whingwang against someone giving you a massage a jailable O? I'm not too sure just how the law views this. What are you saying the charges will be?if he doesnt serve time then the justice system is broken. I think this thing is much MUCH worse than we all know. More comes out each day and its not good.
it will all play out. Im good either way.I can't stand when either side automatically assumes stuff in these cases. And, of course, then berates anyone who doesn't see it as they do. Sad day.
This is such a weird case, I have many mixed feelings about exactly what should be done. I don't see it as simple.it will all play out. Im good either way.
dont assume ANYTHING. Let it play out. I'm saying if a crime was committed and proven in court that the justice system needs to be applied evenly. It is safe to say however, that all 21 vics aren't lying. Even if just 1 is proven true in court and God forbid a crime happened. Lets let the law handle it fairly. Its really obvious somethings happened..there was an intent, a pattern. The question is, how far did it go. Lets wait and see.Serve time for what? correct. Its very complicated. A MESS.This is such a weird case, I have many mixed feelings about exactly what should be done. I don't see it as simple.
Yes, but serve time? What exactly did he do? Yes, he shouldn't have done it, no doubt about that, but is this a crime of such heinous proportions that he should go away? Is he in danger of harming someone? If it was so bad, then why did these 20 masseuses not leave the room and/or report his transgressions?dont assume ANYTHING. Let it play out. why is serving time so taboo with you? lol..Shouldnt he be held to the same standards under the law as we would? I dont wish this on the kid..I am just sayin...keep an open mind because truthfully, I think we are just getting bits and pieces of the things that went on. My fear is this is alot worse than we know. Like you said, he may have severe issues.Yes, but serve time? What exactly did he do? To me, there are many many questions to be answered to even begin to figure this out.
You jumped to another conclusion, Ray. Serving time is not taboo to me. If he was guilty of rape, he should serve time, amongst other things.why is serving time so taboo with you? lol..Shouldnt he be held to the same standards under the law as we would? sometimes you freeze like a deer in headlights when a celebrity wants something and is in the same confined space as you. Its human nature. You later realize that what happened was stunningly in appropriate and maybe even borderline criminal in intent. People use their celebrity like this.Yes, but serve time? What exactly did he do? But all 19 of them froze? That would seem extremely unlikely.sometimes you freeze like a deer in headlights when a celebrity wants something and is in the same confined space as you. Does it need to be actual rape for you to consider jail time? I think the judge will have to also have the tough task of deciding this as well. Like I said, I pray the kid is proven innocent, but it sure looks worse for him everyday. You jumped to another conclusion, Ray. Serving time is not taboo to me. Funny thing, you are stating he should serve time, but then say we should keep an open mind!!! Which is it!!!!!
Absolutely. Now it's time to figure out if he actually attacked or forced anyone, is just guilty of bad taste, or has a disorder that needs to be treated.
we just dunno. Clearly theres a trend of intent with him. THAT we do know. Lets see where it goes. But all 19 of them froze? That would seem extremely unlikely.
in the eyes of the NFL hes toast for at least this year.I've said this in a different thread, or different post, but from everything I've read all he is guilty of is inappropriate behavior. I'm interested to see what they deem qualifies as sexual assault.
If all he did was slap his whingwang against the therapists, I do not believe he deserves jail time, no. Big fine, and extreme counseling if proven.Does it need to be actual rape for you to consider jail time? I think the judge will have to also have the tough task of deciding this as well.
