Hoping for the best. A good FB can help take a running game to the next level.

Nick Ralston blocks very well. Problem is he is short (6'0") for a FB and slow (4.88 40 yd dash). He runs very well with the football, and he catches the pass pretty good as well. Only wish he was 2-4 inches taller. Definitely worth keeping an eye on him.

The Ralston Royce, he looks pretty decent blocking on the move but I’ll hold reservation until I see him do it in a practice match against semi-NFL talent.

He was fun to watch, thanks for sharing.

Even before the tape showed him at QB, I was thinking this is the kind of guy New England would use in a lot of places. The kid just looks like a football player.

I realize it's a highlight reel, but I will be rooting for him.

I think he's one of the UDFA to have a real shot a making the team.

No FB on the team currently. We may go 6 deep at WR but only 3 at TE IMO.
RB seems to be a 3 man depth chart too.

They are highlights but Ralston seems to love to do the dirty work as much as having the ball in his hands.
He can run a 5.2 for all I care as long as he isn't as soft as Jamie was when trying to block.

Seems to have hands for a FB in case we decide to pass the ball to him once in 17 games.

Looks like he's a grad transfer that also redshirted. IIRC he went to college in 2015. So, he's 24/25? Not that it matters but it's not too often you see guys that long in the NCAA. Only other guy I can think of was david Curry LB out of Georgia Tech but injuries played a role there too.

Stop TEASING ME!!!

This Draft initially made me Apathetic....Micah is stud but sat out and Bossman’s music actually has substance and good content but the Rap industry/life has consequences not conducive to longevity in the NFL.

But the guys like Fehoko, Israel and Ralston make the Draft class as a whole FEEL WHOLE!

So many pet cats this camp. I am falling in Love with this draft. Football Horny.....as Mr.4th Long puts it.

Great post

Yeah was hoping we took Mason with that late 5 but why value a starter in the 5th the same way a poorly run team like Baltimore does.
It’s more like why waste a 5th rounder on a fullback that probably won’t even make the team?

WTH happened at 4:30 when he just fell down after tripping on , well, nothing? :D

I liked Moose, I'm not anti FB. The highlights showed him a good blocker and had good hands AND caught the ball with those hands. Maybe the coaches see him as someone that is valuable. Always remember this when looking a collegiate film, you're watching collegiate level talent. Having said that there's a lot of good plays on the film.

The best FB in team history was only 6', and not fast, but was a load to get on the ground.

I know that it is a "highlight" show, but I haven't seen play like THAT from a FULLBACK on this team in years. Maybe a decade. Or two.

The problem with having a FB on the field is who do you take off? Your TE? One (or more) of your WRs? OK, which one(s)?

5 OL
1 QB
1 RB
1 FB

That's 8, and you only get 3 more...

Yeah, Mason is just what that Baltimore run game needs to be even better. And the league essentially handed him to them.

I definitely miss the physicality that the fullback brings to an offense. And I think that this team has sorely missed it too, as evidenced by poor short yardage and goal line numbers, despite the HUGE investments in running back and offensive line.

Put me down for two receivers and a TE that can at least get in the way. Like Novacek did.
