90% of player work out on their own anyways. Sorry to hear he got hurt but he only played 3 games after signing that big contract in 2019, sat out last year then probably was trying to get in shape after missing 2 years basically and got hurt. RT easier to replace than LT.

Not sure how the union directive did anything. It's not like players do absolutely nothing from February until OTAs.

So, the Union has advised players to say away from team facilities and work out on their own....all fine and dandy until this happens. Looks like he could lose his salary this year, and we know Achilles are tough to come back from.

Will be interesting to see how this plays out.
Did some review: RT Ja'Wuan James - 2014 1st round \no. 19 overall pick to MIA.
Signed 4-yr $51 million deal with DEN in 2019, but was injured during week 1, and only played 3 games that season. James then opted out of 2020 over Covid-19.

If I'm Denver and didn't have to pay him because of this, and it doesn't count against the cap, he wouldn't get paid. Nothing personal, just business.

Ouch! Something tells me I wouldn't, really want to be Ja'Waun James.

The Union felt they were acting in his interest. Were they, really?

Sometimes, things just don't go as they were planned.

It's what can happen, if you take your chances!

Let's see how generous their FO is . . .

Oooof!! That is awful!! Hopefully, he recovers quickly. On a sidenote, don't we play the Broncos this year?

Do you think the Bronco players would like watching that? It could be any of them next. So, they won’t workout at home and show up out of shape.

You can bet a lot of players took notice and will work out in the team facility.

The union has a big problem if they can’t get Denver to pay up. Denver has a big problem if the go cheap and infuriate the players.

These guys wanna be cute and follow the union’s guidance? Best be prepared to suffer the consequences.

It's not like they have a QB worth protecting anyway.. they can suck next year for some QB. At least they have a CB.

Some really bad advice from the union.
What's their rationale?
