Amari Cooper was kicked off the Raiders. He had 22 catches and 280 yards in 6 games before being traded. Grandpa Jody Nelson and the TE Jared Cook were having a better season in 2018 than Amari with the Raiders.

He took off once he got to Dallas and Dak as his QB. So who made who again?

That is absurdly untrue. If Amari was "kicked off" the Raiders, why did we have to give Oakland a 1st round pick for him? He was traded not kicked off the team. Gruden took over and the first thing he did was trade the teams best players so he could reshape the roster. He also traded Khalil Mack before Amari.

If judging talent using what the coaches make of a player is the benchmark...then we have a ton of failed players over the years.

Amari was a 1st round WR for a reason.

It's always a "team game" until it's convenient to not be.

Judging talent by where they were drafted is big mistake.

It still doesn't change the fact he sucked in 2018 until he got to Dallas and had Dak as his QB. In fact, he sucked in 2017 also.

it is weird because you can say it the other way. Dak sucked for a year and a half, then amari got there, and dak takes off as one of the top qb's passing in the league. It happened as soon as Amari got there

Dak was literally throwing to bunch of nobody journey man WRs and a rookie (Gallop) that year before Amari. Our starting WRs that year would be WR4 for most other teams. Armari at least had a good QB throwing him the ball in Derek Carr.

Oh, so we gave up a first round pick for a WR that "sucked". You are clueless dude.

So are you implying anyone we give up a first round pick can't/didn't suck? So are you saying Roy Williams the WR didn't suck? Do you even watch football or are you just on the forums trolling? Talk about clueless.

amari went 1k+ his first 2 seasons, but he did have that texas tech receiver or another good one, i dont remember. I was trying to make the point in the post i quoted that amari didn't suck in oakland, and when he got here, he took dak to another level

But then again gallup and beasley are not bad receivers. You could say Dak can't elevate receivers, but cooper eleveated dak

Not bad mouthing dak, just looking at it

He had bad 2017 season where he had 684 yards and averaged 48 yards per game. He had similar stats in 2018 (46 yards per game) in 6 games before being traded.
Once he got to Dallas, he averaged 80 yards per game with Dak as his QB.

As I said previously, Dak had scrubs and a rookie WRs to throw to before Amari. Amari had Derek Carr throwing him the ball.

You used amari's personal stats, and daks team situation to compare. They are not a like comparison.

You then use dak having a rookie WR, but don't account for Amari's really good rookie season and 2nd season. They are not a like comparison

Then I don't get your Derek Carr point

My point is that Dak relied heavily on zeke to move the offense his first few years, and was not a strong passing qb. He had a really bad season and a half, and then Amari gets here, and he takes off as one of the top qb's in the league in passing

Except the part with 4 1st round picks on his offense. Give him Joe Burrow's team and see which way he ends up.

People keep saying Amari made Dak. What I'm saying is Dak made Amari as much as Amari made Dak. The fact that Amari was playing with a QB that is starting level player but couldn't produce, tells me Dak had lot to do with Amari blowing up once he got to Dallas. Yet Dak hater keep insisting it was Amari that made Dak. That's total BS. Go back and look at the threads on how people didn't want the Amari trade. Many were saying, if Amari couldn't play well with Derek Carr, he's going to be much worse with Dak.

Why do you keep pointing out Amari's 1st two seasons stat instead of the last two season with the Raiders before coming to Dallas? How he was playing in 2017 and first 6 games in 2018 is more accurate depiction of what kind of player he was when we got him. Not how he played in 2015 and 2016.

Do you think Zeke is the same player he was in his rookie year now?

Amari is one of the best route runners in the league. Dak didn't do that for him.

As soon as Amari got to Dallas, Dak became one of the top passing qb's in the league.

I don't know what else to say

So which of the first 4 1st round picks were WRs? Burrows played with mostly 1st and 2nd rounders on offense. His WRs were A.J Green, Tyler Boyd and Tee Higgins. Dak's WR were Allen Hurns ,Deonte Thomson and Beasley in 2018. I'd take Burro's receivers over Dak's any day.

Amari was averaging around 43 yards per game in 2017 and 2018 before coming to Dallas. He averaged 80 yards per game once got to Dallas playing with Dak . Amari revived his career by getting traded . Before coming to Dallas, most were calling him a bust and most Cowboys fans didn't want the trade.
