We need to hope not. That means some injuries.

The problem last year was the tackles.

Interior was decent....but it's time for McG and Biadasz to play full time along with the three studs.

CWill is not getting a second deal and McG is arguably better anyway.

I wanna see how OL coach Joe Philipin handles McGovern this time around.
if not for the injuries and OL shuffle, I don't think McGovern would've even hit the playing field. .for whatever reason.

I just hope Biadasz can avoid the injuries while he continues to learn on the job. He's had a rough ride with injuries at Wisconsin
and unfortunately the mysterious pre-warm up game hamstring injuries, which gave the job back to Looney.
i'd like to see both Tyler and McGovern get much more physically stronger than the current status quo.

The guy was talented enough to play at a school like Nebraska.

With a year in an NFL strength program he definitely has a shot if the stars align for him.

I see him as a guy we will want on the PS as opposed to a camp body.

1) Smith
2) Williams
3) Biadasz
4) Martin
5) Collins
6) Knight
7) Steele
8) Ball
9) ?

You forgot Nsekhe. I think he'll be hard for anyone to beat out right now as the swing tackle. Ball might be ready next year.

Whoops. Didn't see McGovern wasn't on there. I think we might have a tough decision or two to make on the line.

Na.. phantom injuries will sort out the OL top 9.

whether someone gets injured or a young guy gets stashed for the year bc he’s “hurt” and has to go on IR (with options to return of course), or a player underwhelms himself off the roster.. funny how position groups look deep this time of the year.

I have it as softly pencilled in as:
RT: Collins / Steele or Nsekhe
LT: Smith / Ball
RG: Martin
OC: Biadasz / McGovern
LG: Williams / Knight

Hyatt + Farniok on the practice squad.

Hoping we never have to see Knight/Steele start again.

this would have looked better :

LT: TSmith / Slater
RT: LCollins / Slater

We probably won't. I think our backups will be Ball at OT and McGovern at OG/OC. And I will always take a d-linemen/o-linemen over a linebacker but Parsons is a beast and special player so I'm not gutted.
