Yeah, what makes you think the guys we drafted would get suspended for off the field issues?
This is the problem. You can't have one without the other..it doesn't work that way..you either want bad boys or you don't
I'm not the one who thinks that.

Oh, then what did you mean? If they don't have any on field issues, and they're not being suspended, what off the field issues do you foresee as a problem?

There is a wide range of off field issues these guys can have..getting suspended by the league is on the extreme end of things..how about a guy like Dez? Especially early in his career. A big headache for the organization off the field for a variety of reasons..never once suspended..he's a perfect example..he also was nasty on the field

Micah Parsons, Keanu Neal, Jabril Cox, Kelvin Joseph, Osa Odighizuwa- we have some defenders now that can hit, instill fear in opposing ballcarriers, and go all out on every snap.

I love Dan Quinn's culture change.
Diggs fits into that and I’m also hopeful to see continued progress from Donovan Wilson. People say our safeties are trash but he showed some things and is pretty aggressive!

also will be interesting to see how the vets respond, particularly D-Law and Jaylen. I think D-Law will be energized. Just is out on Jaylen. Will he rise to the challenge or shrink?

Dez's biggest issue was immaturity. I don't think there are many guys in the league (or rookies) who are gonna need to be babysat the way he was.

I like players who play hard, aggressive and nasty within the rules on the field
It’s the off field stuff that worries me with some
I like them to bend em on and off the field (a little) while being savvy enough not to be caught.

Oh, I would absolutely disagree w that. Especially when you are dealing w the character of the guys we drafted..I think both of those first two guys are going to be on that immature side..to the extent of Dez? Maybe. Maybe not. A lot of that babysitting doesn't come out. Teams sweep that under the rug the best they can, especially if the guy is a great player.

So we probably don't hear nearly as much about these issues as there really are. Look at a guy like Earl Thomas. Look at A. Brown. You think those two guys just became headaches at the tail end of their careers? No way.

Seattle and Pittsburgh respectively kept those issues in house. They did a great job sweeping those things under the rug. Mainly bc those two guys were incredible on the field. Once those guys started slipping a little bit- boom, their true character came to light to the entire world. The nfl is littered w these kind of guys. These guys aren't criminals. They are just hard to deal with off the field.

I see your point, but I think most guys do grow out of their immaturity, once they have mentors to help them along. The Hot Boyz can be annoying, but I think they are, for the most part, good examples off the field, and I think they could be good influences.
