You've never heard Shaq? Damion Lillard? Marvin Bagley III? All of those athletes are really good rappers.
You're not lying. I think Dame might be my favorite. I only heard one song form Bagley and I was shocked. HE might be a better rapper than ball player lol.

Just IMO , but guys into rap, tend to be obsessed with it. So no way he will stay focused on football.
Football will be just something he does to finance his rap career.

And I am not saying he will be a bad player, he may do good, but football will never be #1 interest for him.
He will now be a instant millionaire, so he will soon be "busting a move" lol with his rap interests.
I don't know how you've heard his music and think its going to take over football. It comes across as a past time. Someone screwed him over telling people they think he's focused on rap because it doesn't come across that way at all.

Go back and read the comment that I was replying to and maybe you'll realize how stupid your comment was.

your comment was ignorant referencing NBA players in an NFL forum. Goes to show you couldn’t find any NFL examples

I was referring to the player. Your comment was directed toward me in a juvenile manner. Come on. Have a little bit of respect for other board members.

Awesome!
So his official homer time at UK was over 4.30---at 4.34--but in full pads, he plays sub 4.30.
Home run, baby
look at Roy Williams the receiver. Dude somehow ran in the 4.3s, but played like he ran a 4.8 and definitely looked the part of a slow possession receiver (without the hands)

Strangely, no one questioned Beasley's commitment to football.
I never trusted Peter Dinklage from the first time he ran home from training camp because his girlfriend made him sad.

Something is wired funny in that guy, and I was glad when he left.

Sometimes, players just take unconventional routes before arriving with their teams.

I imagine what matters the most is what they do after they're drafted by these clubs.

Cole Beasley was a pretty good example of such a circumstance. He turned out fine.

Well I didnt say it would detract from his play, he may do good in nfl, have to wait and see.
they think he's focused on rap.....lol he has done 6 albums ! I would consider that a strong interest, not a past time.
The other thing is I wonder if he has paid for the albums himself to be printed up, because no record label would do 6 albums with a guy
whose records dont sell a certain amount.

so now with the money he is about to get, I would think he is day dreaming about his new rapper outfits, and image, and planning on doing
some more albums with his own money. And now that he is a cowboy, it may help him sell some albums.

And this is another thing that I think the media is out of touch with.

In 2021, you can make albums by yourself and release them to social media. You no longer need to press up albums and get a label to release them. You can go directly to streaming platforms like Apple Music, Tidal, etc.

It also doesn't take very long to make 6 albums. Some people release 6 albums in ONE YEAR. Some people create albums in a WEEK. One song a day and your album is done in 2 weeks.

In 2021, not only is everyone a musician or a rapper but anyone can essentially create music. Its not as hard as it use to be. You can do it for cheap as well.

your right , a lot of opportunity to get your music out there today.
I guess they could create a rap lp in one week. regular songs take more time to write those and get them right.

Nice. Trying to cover up the stupidity of your comment by trying to change what I was actually replying to. But I know you're deal. You need the last word to feel validated, so have at it. I'll let everyone else marvel at your doubling down to idiocy.

Yeah these are more “mixtapes” than they are albums. A professional rapper on a mainstream label would take a little more time to craft a album. Kanye may take 2 years to make a album but Bossman Fat can cook one up in a day probably.

I couldn't believe my ears when I first heard him rap. I mean, he's not making any platinum albums but the talent is there if he were to take it seriously as a career and have the backing of a decent label.

Yeah I don’t think he’s commercial enough but he could be if he wanted too.
