I will laugh my butt off if Dallas pulls the upset then get to come here and listen to the same old critics talk about TB had a super bowl hangover or somehow the game does not mean anything. One thing I have constantly seen any win by Dallas gets down played and a loss is the end of the world.

This is perfect. Road game - loss, against TB anywhere - loss, first game of season - loss.
So we actually saved two losses this next season.

Yes it is. Assuming you understand what "around" means. To wit:

1. 2018 - 30/10
2. 2020 - 35/13
3. 2015 - 29/11
4. 2017 - 27/13
5. 2016 - 26/6

Those are all "around" 30 and 10. "Around" meaning "approximately". Or "about". Of course "around" etc. in of themselves isn't an exact term. If you don't agree with what his and my "around" means, fine, they you don't have to agree...

We certainly have our own opinions, that's cool...
Well if that’s what you consider “around” then I guess Deshaun Watson and Kirk Cousins are of the same caliber....

Never mind you guys are excluding yards to determine this lol.....

I never once said Cousins was a bum. He has had issues with primetime games and Monday Night games but I’ve never said he was a bum. He and Dak aren’t of the same caliber though. He’s threw over 10 picks 5 times in his career. Dak hasn’t.
You say he's threw 10 picks 5 times in his career and Dak has not, right?

Welllllll, Cousins has also thrown for 4,000 yards 5 times, Dak 1 time. Cousins has threw 25 or more TDs 6 times, Dak 1 time. Cousins even has 16 rushing TDs while Dak has 24, that's even closer then you would expect.

Please, elaborate why you stated that he and Dak are not of the same caliber. Because if you look at the numbers you're right, but not in the way you want to be right, because Cousins has just flat out been better and more consistent.

So, do you think Cousins is worth 40 million a year given the number I provided?

I think it's an advantage. Extra rest for week 2. Obviously, plenty of time to prepare for week 1. Better to catch tb early than late, Imo as well.

If you're not going to agree with me I really don't want to read your posts.

Good ..!

i thought NFL schedule would rile up that same ole NY GIants/Cowboys for season opener after finally matching up with Rams last year.

...uugh i got so tired of that.
Now NFL trying to go for the throat with the best likely TV Ratings getter. ..

Would've preferred Sunday Night football or 3pm match up - instead of a Thursday working night ... but i'll easily take that over same ole Giants opener. :flagwave:

You are cherry picking stats to try and compare the two but it’s not going to work.

Thank you.

I have a feeling the reason he is being so difficult about this is because the numbers do not look the way the poster would like them to look.

Prove me wrong, but either way I think this is a good place to end the discussion, right?

I mean I even threw in rushing TDs because I bet you thought Dak was wayyyyyy ahead there didn't ya?

So, unless you wanna prove me wrong.....

Check mate.

This season Cousin cap hit is 31 mil while Dak is 22 mill.

Starting against the SB champs -- well, that's starting the season off with a challenge. I want to see a good game plan.
