I recently went back in the archives to read poster reactions the moment Dak Prescott was drafted. I will not mention names or what was specifically posted. Let me just say that some of you have been wrong about Dak all the way up to today.

If I had predicted at that time that Dak would be Rookie of the Year, given that it was reported that Romo was completely healthy at the time, the reactions would have ranged from total disagreement to personal insults.

Dak made a lot of posters look like fools after he was drafted. It seems that some of you are coming back for more.

Ignorant response.

What's the matter, tough guy? Are you afraid Dak will prove you wrong and force you to leave CZ for good if he stays healthy the whole season?
Take the bet or not clown.

You are the one that’s adding stipulations.

In fact, let’s make it that if Dak wins MVP, ill leave. If he doesnt you leave. If he gets injured, bet is off.

Hey, Jack, be a man! You're all talk little boy. All mouth. What a Jack. Play fair like a man, boy, or don't play at all. You made the bet, I made the rules. Fair is Fair. Man to Man. I don't have time to play with little boys who cheat.

Be a man or step off.

BTW, go find another team! Dak is here to stay. Tired of hearing your disloyal childish rants.

You are in your 50s and act like a child.

Take the bet or stop quoting me, ho
I would be down to do our sig bet from last season. Definitely not betting on MVP. To many opinions in that voting room and the star on the helmet doesn’t make me feel good about it. I’ll put a g down with bet365 or something but definitely not to leave here forever lol

Nah staying healthy is part of the game

Staying healthy is not exactly something a QB can control. He cant control a blindside hit or force the blockers to do their job. He can just kind of hope everything works out.

Mahomes is the favorite to win MVP this year, as he should be, but if he gets hurt that is likely not on him.

I wonder if Canty thinks Elliott can have an MVP season? Or is that out of the realm of possibilities?

Well then. In 2014 I would argue Romo should have won it.
I agree. He received a vote or some votes from memory but it was disappointing at the lack if traction towards Romo winning it that season. I thought Rodgers had better seasons and I appreciate some will argue that it fits my narrative to suit Romo but I genuinely think that.

I agree. And that goes to show that when that star is on your helmet you need to do something insane to win the award. I think if Zeke broke dickersons record he would have won it. But that’s me .

Every offseason the Cowboys QB is winning the MVP and the team is going to win the Super Bowl according to a lot of talking heads.

This is nothing new.

STOP THE PERSONAL INSULTS.

I WONDER IF DAK KNOWS HE BRINGS THIS OUT IN COWBOYS FANS?

Difficult one with Zeke as he was excellent during his rookie season - All Pro First Team, but same as Prescott they kind of took away credit from one another by both playing at such a high level as rookies in the same offense.

Mahomes, Rodgers, Brady, Allen and maybe even Stafford, Murray or Wilson might have something to say about that.

I think it will take a record of 12-5 or better to get in the MVP mix, he does that with this D, he deserves strong consideration.

Love Dak but that ankle really has me worried especially when it comes to his mobility and escape ability!
