As least he slows them down

Didn't quit on the play like he likes to do sometimes either. Helluva job!

It's because of the injury; He is favoring the foot. His instincts are good. His athleticism is good. Technique good. His desire is good.

His foot/ankle...not good at all. Not sure why we gave him big bucks and think he's great. He is damaged.

If I may say though....if he is THIS "good"...with horrendous injury.... imagine if he wasn;t injured? Very sad/

After seeing him in action....no, his instincts are not all that good. He overcomes poor instincts with his athleticism.

I will be so happy when he is gone. Jerry is killing this team by forcing his pets on the coaches. At least the draft this year made it very clear that the coaches have had enough of the pathetic LB play and Jerry was forced to do something about it.

8:34-8:48

What do yall see?

Man Jaylon sucks so bad. Only Jerry "Blue" J. could have signed him.

At least an DL player helped him up.
Reminded me of Free helping Romo up. Losers help losers.

Get tf off my team!!!!

Jaylon is one of the worst signings in Cowboys history.

Imagine what that does to your morale to bust your butt every single day and then to have that clown start every game no matter what he does.

I don't care about the cap hit, this team needs to be sent a message. That **** is not going to be tolerated. Ever.

Jaylon Smith was the 2nd leading tackler in the NFL last season. He was utterly exposed by a very weak and depleted D-line. This video shows Jaylon towards the end of the 3rd quarter in game #15. Jaylon ended up with 11 tackles that game. The next highest number of tackles by a Cowboy is six.

Jaylon was getting beat up all season long and you can bet that, by game #15, he was fatigued. Yet, he was one of only three total Cowboys that started all 16 games for the third season in a row.

You don't make it that far, especially with a devastating injury, without being highly competitive. Jaylon Smith isn't simply going to walk away without a fight. He and Parsons are going to be very good for each other.

I still laugh at the quote Jaylon had at the end of the year about his play. " just watch the film". Yep, that's what we do and the eye in the sky never lies.
Yeah… We watched that and made sure to draft 2 linebackers

If you watched the highlights of the Eagles game and are not concerned about the defense check your pulse.

First things I noticed, Gallimore getting knocked back off the LOS and Lawrence being invisible. We are depending on these players to help the defense get better. Lawrence is so overrated and overpaid. Did you all notice Gregory getting double teamed? So where was Lawrence when two guys were blocking Gregory?

Yes. On more than just that play. But they'll keep Tank and let Gregory walk after next season. And trade Gallup.

He babies the leg and can’t shed blocks. This is not fatigue, it happens all the time. It’s time to phase out Jaylon Smith. I’m sure he’s a nice guy and the injury was a devastating blow, but LBs for this D need to take on blocks not avoid them. This happens no matter how well your DTs are playing. LBs have to shed blocks. You can't keep them completely clean at all times. You need to see some more video evidence? cause there’s plenty! And solo tackles he ranks 11th and doesn't break the top 100 in tackles for loss. The 21 season should be his last hurrah in a Cowboys uniform no matter how many assisted tackles he has. He is part of the problem not the solution if you ever want to actually see this defense morph into a suffocating group. Can't and won't happen when LBs are doing what he does. More likely to get completely run over in a playoff game and it's not like we haven't seen that either.

In 2019 Jaylon Smith was voted to the Pro Bowl. Two thirds of the voting come from the coaches and the players.

If he can't shed blocks then how in the world has he been in on 417 tackles in three seasons? Combined or solo, he was there. Again, that's third in the entire league over the past three seasons.
