That's a wisecrack reply. I didn't say I've always avoided products from China. The ones I've purchased before my decision to avoid them I'm going to of course use. I'm instantly suspicious of people that aren't suspicious of China in this current geopolitical environment.
I’m suspicious of China too and don’t trust their government at all.
All that being said. I have noticed that some folks are being selective of which companies that does business with China, that they will support.
I mean. Does that mean we can’t even shop at any retailers that even sell Chinese goods? Can I shop at wal mart and buy stuff not made in China, despite the fact that wal mart sells billions worth of Chinese goods?
Idk.
When it comes to Nike. I have always been more of an Adidas guy anyway. But I don’t even know if Adidas does any business there or not. Even if my shoes aren’t made there. Are some? Do they get materials from there? Etc.
shoot even our cars nowadays can be assembled in one country while different Parts are made in other countries. International supply chains are incredibly complex nowadays.
