I am a fan of the Dallas Cowboys and would love to see the team have success. J Smooth prevents that from happening therefore I do not like him.

Just trolled his website.........I don't get it, how you be upset with him using his money and/or platform to help others who may not have a level playing field. Hell, he's doing exactly what every NFL should do. You're part of a multi-billion dollar enterprise with a short window. It's downright irresponsible to NOT use it to build you're future after football. Look at 100s or 1000s of player left the game and broke within 5 years. Why.......two words, partying and sex (LOL).

The truly strange thing is why so many Dallas Cowboy fans feel the need to jump to this clowns defense.

-------Yet several players around the league are changing numbers but guess what, Jaylon is a POS.

I will agree with ya there, my friend.

------And stop the "she" stuff. That's 3rd grade.

If you would take off Jaclyn's letter jacket for 5 minutes, and "watch the tape".....and watch the way she carries herself on and off the field, you will see countless examples of the DB claim that almost everyone but you has obviously been seeing....certainly, the last two years.

He's going to have too have a stellar year or he's long gone. Let's see if his gamble pays off.

Throwing away $500K for a number change is somehow building his future?

 at his website, referring to himself as a philanthropist and entrepreneur.

Do you know what he plans to do with the jerseys from the 500K. Let's wait and see what his plans are before suggesting he's "throwing away" money. He could very well donate the jerseys via a nonprofit organization and guess what, the 500K may qualify as a tax write-off.

I am guessing he had to buy about 2500-5000 jerseys at $100/each.

I would sign each one, maybe get teammates to also sign, and sell on the internet at $250/each. Make some money off the deal.

I feel sorry for the players who have to buy these jerseys. But, they have probably been getting a good cut of those sold for years.

Maybe he will just write it off as a tax deduction and guess who picks the tab up in that case.

Maybe he will donate the jerseys to people in need.

The NFL probably sells these jerseys at a huge markup. Probably costs about $10 to make at some sweat shop overseas and they charge people here $100. NFL, team, and player have to get their cut.

That's a good point about the markup. He may be able to buy they jerseys at the wholesale price.

What he actually does with the jerseys is most important. I am guessing he made a business decision. No one buying #54 any more. People will buy #9 since it is new and has potential to be a collector’s item if he plays well. People gambling like buying rookie cards.

entitled, not worthy of asking and A all pro in his own mind. Dallas has given much more than he has given to Dallas. No one can argue that. No One.!!:( He is the Corvette you bought that never ran just right.
Umm sure. He actually played pretty good in 18 and wasn't horrible but below average. Will be interesting to see how he plays with a competent DC and Dline that does their jobs. Also I'm not a huge fan of the guy but man get pissed at Wilson, Parsons etc because what have they done?

Because he's a hack and draws attention to himself like he's an all-pro.
Sure I guess that's a reason to hate he asked for a diff number lol, you all can worry about the number change and I'll worry about how he plays in this new D

It must’ve been important to him because he paid a lot of his own money to make the switch. That doesn’t effect any of us.

I don’t really care. He just needs to play better in Quinn’s scheme and everything will be good.

I think the players being able to wear different numbers is kind of cool anyway. Seeing the LB’s wearing 11 and 9 will be pretty neat. Cedrick Wilson as #1 I like too.
