Diggs you want to be all pro? learn how to draw offensive PI like Jalen Ramsey. If you can learn to fake out officials like this you will be gold

Except it wasn't a fake. Gallup did push off and then Ramsey did his flop move. If you stop the video before Ramsey's flop you aren't distracted by it and can see Gallup stood him up to create separation.

I believe the cap is supposed to increase in 2022.

"As part of last week’s league meetings, the NFL and the NFL Players Association agreed to set a salary cap ceiling for the 2022 season. According to a report by Tom Pelissero of NFL Network, that ceiling will be implemented at $208.2 million per team.

While no floor has been agreed to as of right now, the belief is that the cap will increase again after dropping by $15.7 million between the 2020 and 2021 seasons due to the Coronavirus pandemic."

Also, almost every bigtime contract has clauses in it whereby the team has the option to restructure to allow for cap maneuvering. Jaylon will also likely be off the books.

Take note of the total cap amount in what I showed you. It is based on that $208 million figure.

Take a look at their projected 2022 cap:

https://www.spotrac.com/nfl/dallas-cowboys/cap/2022/

They're projected to be $21 million over the expected $208 million cap. To me, that means a new contract for Gallup is likely off the table (unless it's very creatively structured based on a huge cap increase). And there are few contracts that they can get out of that offer considerable savings vs dead money.

Two in particular jump out at me - Amari Cooper and Jaylon Smith. Cutting or trading Cooper can save them $16 million, far and away the most. And cutting or trading Smith saves them about $5 million. That puts them near where they need to be with a bit of restructuring of other deals.

That's why I am doubtful about either Gallup or Cooper being here after this season.

It’s a good thing they didn’t overpay Dak ……

Yeah. They will restructure Dak next year and save 15 million. Probably cut jaylon as a post June 1st cut, Cooper contract is interesting. If he keeps producing they might finally just restructure his contract, that would save 13 million. Lawrence could also be a June 1st cut if they wanna keep Gregory , that saves almost 19 million alone

Wrong. He didn't push, he extended. Defensive player wasn't impeded.

How many times have you heard an announcer talk about a WR getting called for OPI for a full extension of the arm? Ramsey is leaning in and the push stands Ramsey up. That is being impeded if he's leaning one way and you shove him another.

Too the untrained eye, maybe. If you know the rule, no.

Oh I know my rules. Trust. In red below.

ARTICLE 2. PROHIBITED ACTS BY BOTH TEAMS WHILE THE BALL IS IN THE AIR. Acts that are pass interference include,
but are not limited to:
(a) Contact by a player who is not playing the ball that restricts the opponent’s opportunity to make the catch;
(b) Playing through the back of an opponent in an attempt to make a play on the ball;
(c) Grabbing an opponent’s arm(s) in such a manner that restricts his opportunity to catch a pass;
(d) Extending an arm across the body of an opponent, thus restricting his ability to catch a pass, and regardless of whether the
player committing such act is playing the ball;
(e) Cutting off the path of an opponent by making contact with him, without playing the ball;
(f) Hooking an opponent in an attempt to get to the ball in such a manner that it causes the opponent’s body to turn prior to the
ball arriving; or

(g) Initiating contact with an opponent by shoving or pushing off, thus creating separation.

That wasn't a shove or a push. If you think it was, that's fine. Glad you were never one of my officials

LOL. So Ramsey just stood up on his own, mid pursuit? Okay. I bet you think Dez caught it in GB too, right? I could break out those rules for you as well.
