If you could pick one rookie to have a HOF career, which one would you choose?

Regardless of their draft position, if you could have one of these guys go on to have a first-ballot Hall of Fame career for the Cowboys, who would you choose? This isn't asking who has the best shot, just who you'd like it to be.

I think I would choose Bohanna. Having a nose tackle dominating at that level would change our entire team. If there's one position on the defense that could change entire games, I think it's that one.

What about you?

Bohanna? :lmao::lmao::lmao::lmao2::lmao2::lmao2::lmao2:

Even if Bohanna turns out to be a great pick, and I like Bohanna, he wont make the HOF. Those types dont typically make the HOF.

Parsons is the obvious pick and really the ONLY guy that has a shot.

I'd say the same. Having a 6th round pick rise up to HoF level would be tremendous.

Also going to get my popcorn ready at the lack of reading comprehension skills that will be demonstrated in this thread.

Clear answer is Nick Ralston at FB. He would be like the football version of the Juggernaut in order to make the HOF 1st ballot.

Probably kill a few defenders along the way but so it goes.

Hard to pick actually. We drafted in a few key areas that a 1st baloot HOF player would make such an impact.

If Parsons was a Ray Lewis impact LB that would huge in all 3 phases.
If Osa could be a HOF DT(4 DL lineup) that would be huge in pressuring the QB/plugging the run.
If one of our corners could be a Revis/Sanders type shutdown guy we would leave them on islands and focus on other offensive weapons.
etc...

When comparing physical talent and potential Parsons is the most likely to reach it but who is to say who actually blossoms into that type of stud player.

i think his point wasnt to focus on a player that has the ability to make but what position just drafted that could play at a HOF level would be most impactful...regardless of shot.

exactly and your statement "Even if Bohanna turns out to be a great pick, and I like Bohanna, he wont make the HOF. Those types dont typically make the HOF." is what i am referring to. If he would want Bohanna to be that player becuase he sees such massive impact from a NT then thats his point....not what you are arguing which is going to Parsons and that hes the only player with a shot....

his post wasn't about who has a shot but rather which player (position) just drafted would you want to play at a HOF level....

Did you skip the second sentence in my original post? I wasn't saying I thing Bohanna has the best shot. In fact, I specifically said that wasn't what I was saying.

LOL..........whats the difference? Talk about grasping for straws. Consider my answer to include whatever ridiculous diversion you are trying to make between the two.

Lets just gloss over the fact that he specifically talked about being on the FIRST BALLOT for the HOF.

You sound a little confused to be honest.

It’s just a fun thread to get people thinking what position just drafted could have the biggest impact to yhe team if they turn out to surprise with great play.

honestly, it’s a bit different than usual and kinda fun to think about and discuss….that’s the whole reason we’re all here right?

Parsons.

Why?

Cowboys have (not including punters and kickers since so few make the HOF at all) players in the HOF in all positions except linebacker. Jordan and Howley, at the least, deserve to be in the HOF. Need to fill that spot...
