I thought he was part of the 1T rotation with Urban and Bohanna. He's listed as a DE so no.
man, I feel for you...a cowboys fan in Philly. the philly fans suck. I lived in DC (I was CowboysFanDC) before moving to Houston. DC wasn't as bad. there was rivalry, but some respect as well....Can I like this a thousand times!
that was part of the problem. I think Nolan's defense on paper is good, but way too complicated given all 11 players had to be perfect in carrying out their responsibilities. when that happened, they were good. however, chances are that it didn't and thus we tended to give up a lot of big plays. What I saw were LB being too aggressive trying to make plays as opposed to maintaining discipline and their responsibility. I saw way too often LB over pursuing and running themselves out of the play. Guys have got to know their responsibility and carry it out not trying to be the hero. Defense works because every player carries out their assignment when you have a break down in assignment you leave big gaps that can be exploited
and that is your view I really have no respect for it because I really have no respect for you. I know you impress yourself, I guess you can settle for that.
I can settle for that and being right.
Have fun in fantasy land where Watkins is an impact player until next year's FA stiff comes along to make you feel better.
Really do not care what you do. You want to be a jerk, I'm accustom to seeing that from you. You can express your views without the rest of your crap.
^^^^Am I supposed to pretend Watkins is an impact player to make you feel better? He might not even make the roster.

Carlos Watkins came out with some bounce at Tuesday's practice, literally leap frogging a standing tackling dummy. That's an impressive feat for a man weighing in at 6'3, 300 pounds. The fifth year defensive tackle, former fourth-round pick ,was very impressive showing powerful hands in reaction drills. Watkins is athletic and maintains balance when engaged. He's a very good striker with above average bend.
I think Cowboys have done well in addressing the interior DL and I think Watkins has a chance to make an impact on this DL with his size and agility

And I think you'd have been excited if they fattened up Jerry Jones Jr. and put him out there.
Carlos Watkins is a roster filling JAG. This is not what a team does to address a glaring hole.
Wait....he isnt playing 1 tech?
Where is he playing in this scheme? He's far from a 1-tech. He's another quickness player who doesn't win if it comes down to power on power.
We need some DTs with Leon Lett’s height and size. These short DTs have become the trend in Dallas , but I always liked tall defensive linemen.I like seeing the batted balls. doesn't seem like we get nearly enough of those out of our DL
How long are his arms?
They look like they go all the way down to his hands..
