Regardless of their draft position, if you could have one of these guys go on to have a first-ballot Hall of Fame career for the Cowboys, who would you choose? This isn't asking who has the best shot, just who you'd like it to be.

I think I would choose Bohanna. Having a nose tackle dominating at that level would change our entire team. If there's one position on the defense that could change entire games, I think it's that one.

What about you?
Boy, a HOF 1Tech?
That's a game wrecker.

I think I'm with you on that one.

Unfortunately they didn't draft or sign a UDFA QB . What better position to choose for a Hall of Fame career?

I’ll go with WR Eagles because it would rub salt in the Philadelphia Eagle fans’ wounds. A Cowboy UFA named Eagles is a Hall of Famer and did better than the Eagles’ 1st round pick Devanta Smith.

2nd Choice would be safety Coyle.

3rd Choice would be Mukuamu. Sounds like he was very thankful Jerry picked him.

4th Choice would be Wr Aaron Parker.
And he was a Texas Longhorn.

Did you skip the second sentence in my original post? I wasn't saying I thing Bohanna has the best shot. In fact, I specifically said that wasn't what I was saying.

While I strongly disagree with your declaration that Quinton Bohanna will be a Hall of Famer, I respect that you had the guts to put it out there.

But they still brought in several guys that can throw better than Prescott.

Big Bo will come in eligible on the goal line...Prescott completes the throw...Bohanna hurdles the last defender (who was standing upright) to win the Superbowl in overtime.

When that happens, you have to declare yourself a Prescott fan.

Would have won it in regulation with Wentz.

Nashon Wright.

Would love to see him prove everyone wrong. Plus, a HOF caliber CB is probably more valuable than any other position that we drafted.

The obvious answer is a pass rusher
Besides QB a pass rusher is so hard to get
An interior pass rusher would be my choice since we didn’t draft a QB

DE Chauncey Golston.

With the league becoming more and more of a passing league, I just don't think we'll see any defensive ends going to Canton 15-20 years from now based on being really good run defenders. It'll be because they piled up tons of sacks and were elite pass-rushers for lots of years. So if Golston becomes a HOF guy, it'll mean he turned into a monster of a pass-rusher.

And him blossoming and surprising everyone by becoming that elite pass-rusher would be perfect for our defense. Randy Gregory and Demarcus Lawrence are both 29 today, so they'll both be old (and perhaps even gone already) by the time Golston would even start to cost real money. So it would happen at a very convenient time for us.

See, you guys don't understand the strategy in answering such a question.

I'm pretty sure Parsons, Joseph, and the 3rd round picks are going to be great to at least contributing.....That's why I want a 6th or 7th round pick to make it to the HOF!

As I've said, we already suppose those other guys will help. So, let's add an additional player. In fact let's make this improbable star a future HOFer!

Now, what squad could use some real help....like a future HOFer?

Cowboy fans, meet your next iconic safety, Israel Mukuamu.....future HOFer.
