Why all the negativity?

Why would we complain about anything in this world we don’t have control over?

LOL, what should everyone be? Emotionless "Vulcans"? You cheer when your team gets a touchdown and complain when the coach allows a Fake Punt from his own 24 yard line or ice's their own kicker.

We all get mad at certain things. Most of us YEARN for the “good old days”. I think people are simply looking for middle ground. Not “rah rah” 24/7, but also not Eeyore the majority of the day.

It's hard to find reasonable people these days.. About ANYTHING much less football. LOL

Because we can do it, and that's all we can do. Just human nature, we feel we have to do something.

Just a release of pent up emotions, which if done properly is good for one's mental health...
Better than taking it out on family and friends and it is expected here.

Besides that, if it wasn't for us complainers, Rocky wouldn't have anyone to spank. Quickest trip any new poster will take here is newbie to hater. They can get that quicker than Reality can give them a Like button.

Seriously, the first lesson a guy can learn in marriage is not that he is expected to solve all the problems but he is expected to listen to them. Sometimes posters just need to purge a little venom, they don't need a response or a label thrown at them, just dump that venom and then they can play nice.

Simple. Jerry Jones is still GM. I know I will get my boys busted over this but like stated earlier it is quite simple. Jerry is the common denominator since the last Super Bowl win. Those SB wins were because of Johnson (I know Switzer won one but it was with Johnson's crew.), not Jones. I still pull for my Cowboys but I realistically keep the expectations low for Jones is still the GM. When he goes as GM the odds of them winning a SB improves tremendously.

“I’m a Realist” That’s the haters mantra. No you’re a negative Nancy who people go to extreme lengths to avoid to be around.
There you go again label’s and name calling. Reality is the correct way to view life, so by ignoring it speaks of a warped view of reality which you seem to have but your allowed your view, sad you can’t afford others the same. This isn’t the corps you don’t get to tell people how to think and that just bothers the lifers mentality in you. Sad sad way you go through life.

We are in a time of Reaction instead of Response. One just requires action and the other, thought before action.
Nothing wrong with complaining about Jerry, ranting and yelling at the TV, ripping players and coaches during the season. That's part of the game and being a fan. My question is, why diss Zeke because he's working hard this off season, why diss Dak for his contract and shoe deal, why rip on Quinn before we even see one game, why rip on Tyron for saying he want to play a long time, why rip on Jaylon for changing his number etc.....let's start the season and then rip and praise then.

This is the truth. Jerry is the GM and it’s not an ordinary situation where as a fan you would be positive at the beginning of every new season. The Jones factor has officially squashed that. People talk about hope but the owner has done nothing to give you any over quite a long period of time.

Serious question....I was a player or coach for 36years and every year brought new hope. We busted our butts in the weight room, film room, 7 on 7 tournaments and by the time the season started we had hope. We had some great years and some bad years, but none of the teams that I was involved with ever quit, cry, pout....as a fan, I get the frustration, but why all the negatives? Why make yourself miserable? What's wrong with just enjoying it and not complain about things you have no control of?
It's cool to have different options and outlooks....I actually enjoy reading a lot of the negative posts, it's pretty comical. To each their own, I guess....I just don't get it.
Salud! I'll enjoy a drink while some of you start attacking me! Lol! Be happy!

Being in the bottom third ( actually less ) of the entire league in playoff wins over the last quarter century will bring the negativity . As far as winning Jerry is literally nothing without Jimmy .

Fans come here to vent, that's a fact.

Dwelling on them solves nothing either, especially when you don’t have nothing to do with it.
I don’t think anybody has been dwelling on the problems, but those problems comes up repeatedly when they are not fixed, so they remain a topic of discussion. None of us has any input when it comes to this team, good or bad, so I guess we have nothing to discuss if we look at things that way. We can ignore the problems and never discuss them. That should be fun. The amount of negative conversations at any given time is a direct reflection of the team’s lack of success on the field.

I don’t remember reading any positive posts from you.
I have even given you “likes” for certain posts that you have made on certain players and situations. I guess I could say that I have never seen you post a realistic opinion concerning a problem with the team or player. Pay close attention. I was defending Randy Gregory’s play and potential just a couple of hours ago, not that it matters in the least. There are many situations where I support players, coaches and the front office when they deserve it , but there will be and should be more critical posts when the team has a losing record.

He doesn't see the positive posts. He only sees the negative posts and then assumes all the other posts are negative as well. He even called out another poster who hates negativity like he does. That was a great little exchange. Remember that @ESisback when @Rockport claimed you were always negative?

The Cowboys are “AZZ”?!? What kind of moronic “modern” slang is that? What exactly is that code for? And why should anyone (aside from that 23 year old, entitled punk’s friends and family) care what he thinks?
Opinions are like *******s, everybody has got one.
