Did not know that. I did read a few items where he looked decent in OTA's and rookie camp.
I forgot about him.
Smith would be my vote of the UDFAs to make the squad.

Good problem to have!

Though he's not as young as one might think. He'll turn 24 this season, at which point Brown will still be 25 and Wilson 26.
Youth here is relative but what really matters is he is eligible for the lower rookie contract salary scale.
Noah Brown costs you 987K and Simi 720K and you have control of cheap years going forward with Fehoko.

He is probably a virtual lock given the cap effect and team control issues. But he does need to get through camp and show something.
If he is injured he'd be an easy IR but outside that I don;t see Dallas wanting to expose him to other teams and try to get him to a PS.

Can I just ask.....to expound on the "value" of Brown. I'm a pretty well-known tOSU homer. And Brown has one of the most spectacular catches in all of the NCAA.

But I find him rather pedestrian. Not TERRIBLE for a #5-6. I just think he's replaceable HERE. With so much talent in front of him...maybe he needs a team he can get more PT?
Sure. Noah's a decent WR imo capable of filling in and making some plays like last season, but I feel his value of just being able to function properly on STs. I think he's the best blocker and grunt ST'er at WR.

Idk if Simi or any WR can provide those type of services (receiving, blocking, STs) making NB unique to the roster, yet I agree his buried on this roster.

Vasher should be on the PS.

Shows potential and flashes. Just very inconsistent to knock one of the top 6 off now. I’d throw him fades on the goal line all day lol
Solid evaluation considering camp is a week away still.

He is one of the more exciting draft picks with his combination of size and big play ability. However, Wilson and Brown will be in the mix for the 4th and 5th roster spots. Those spots usually come down to ST.

Saying that, do you think Simi Fehoko is a lock to make the final roster
Without a training camp or ability to see him in preseason games, there is no way to arrive at an informed decision, and without that I can't suggest he is a lock.

Maybe Fehoko just needs to get back to southern California for the start of training camp. Because that was the site of his final collegiate game, & it'll go down as one of the best in Pac-12 history.

Playing at UCLA, which is about an hour away from the Cowboys' training camp site in Oxnard, Calif., Fehoko torched the Bruins for 16 catches for 230 yards & three TD's. Definite lock!

I think so with Cooper being injured. They might showcase him in the preseason and trade him if he looks good but they don’t have roster space. I hope they keep him.

Probably trade him for a 2nd or 3rd rounder.

I can definitely see that happening

He is definitely an intriguing prospect. His size is enticing.

There seems to be four locks at WR - Cooper, Gallup, Lamb and Wilson. They really like Brown who is #5. The initial 53 had 6 WRs so if Fehoko can make his mark on special teams, he easily could make the roster as the 6th (or maybe even replace Brown as the #5) WR.

Trade who for a 2nd or 3rd rounder? Fehoko?

Yeah, that's really unlikely that you'd turn a 5th round pick in April into a 2nd or 3rd round pick. Ben DiNucci probably has a better shot of earning a starting QB job in this league than trading a 5th round pick for a higher round pick just 4 months later.

Yea, if he shows potential in the preseason and Dallas just doesn’t have room on the roster you could get your 5th back. If he looks like Jody Nelson maybe you get a 4th or could trade for a player, say if Dallas has some early injuries and needs a different position. But if he looks like Jody Nelson I’m saying he makes the team.

I know you can't put too much stock in U-Tube highlights but I wasn't impressed at all, especially with measurements. For a guy that's 6'4, 4.4 speed, and 10+" hands ( standard teams like for their QBs) his reel shows a lot of routine catches.

Unless he has been holding back and can actually plant and burst, not sure he'll be much use.

You're Welcome. Oh sarcasm? Didn't know

There is a reason he went undrafted. The kid has insane measurables. He's against a stacked group and can use a year to be groomed. I watched him at Tech and you can ask any Tech fan. Solid potential and a jump ball freak ... just needs to be more consistent. He is by far my favorite UDFA and I was hoping we drafted him. So I am very pro Vasher
