I honestly think I’m more upset that he kept Garrett for over a decade than I am the Jimmy ordeal.

I can look back on the Jimmy Johnson era and have great memories.

The Garrett era was just his ego holding the fans and hall of fame players careers hostage.

Pathetic management at its finest.

Two things in play here.

1. Jerry is paving the way for Jimmy entering the ROH.
2. Jerry is getting that devil off his back from his 25 year pact with him.

Championship….you heard it here first.

it's been known for years that Jerry has admitted to screwing this up.

They were equally boneheaded moves

Did Jimmy fook up? Absolutely, and he has acknowledged that for years yet people want to keep beating that dead horse. But Jimmy was going to leave one way or the other. He has admitted that many times as well. Jimmy used to do things particularly to piss Jerry off.

We all know Jerry has sucked as a GM since Jimmy left. And any other GM with his record would have been fired long ago. But he is the boss. He gets to run things as he sees fit. That ain't changing, probably even after he is gone....because Stephen is of the same mindset. It's my ball, play the game that I want you to or I am leaving.

LOVE THIS!! JJ is so dang passionate about DC football, you have to respect that. I know I do! That was a great moment for sure. All is know is: DC FOOTBALL IS BACK BABY!!!!
No, he’s passionate about himself running Cowboys football .

He didn’t have interest in someone else like Jimmy winning championships and getting most of the credit. That’s all we need to know about Jethro.

And some of you ask me why I call him Booger? He's the lead clown in his own Big Top.

Had he been drinking before that pc? What a tool!

Jimmy's a great coach? Then why is he in the HOF instead of his own ROH first after helping that old fool from being forced to do the same thing Bright did, bail out.

He's a phony and a liar and it still feels good to see that ugly face of his after a loss.

I respect Jerry for acknowledging responsibility. As he said, as the owner and GM, it was his job to keep it together.

Switzer ended up being the wisest of the three because his ego wasn't involved. Jerry and Jimmy let their egos get in the way of a good thing. Both could've achieved more had they stuck it out a few more years.

I do too, and, now that he's finally admitted it, now he can begin to heal. I think as time has gone on, he has learned to lean on others. I think we saw that. Maybe there's still hope for us winning with Jerry in charge? Now that he's learned this lesson.

I know you're right but still stings.
