It would be difficult for me to take my defensive line coach seriously if he sounded just like a London taxi driver.

Bronx, Alabama, Minnesota, Texan, even Bostonian, but..... "Her Majesty's Royal Language"?

Shouldn't he be coaching the Oxford cricket team?

It would have been more tolerable if he had a cockney accent. But he sounds too proper for American Football.

I would love to see a real 'fly on the wall' documentary about a NFL training camp - instead of the light weight magazine type show HK has become. I'd be willing to wait 2-3 years to see it - one of the reasons HK is so bad is teams are afraid of revealing what they are really thinking/doing behind the scenes.

Could you imagine how interesting a no restrictions fly on the wall would be? One with remote cameras permanently in all key areas including GM and HC offices.

Two weeks from now I might remember the drone squeezing thru windows and sculptures, down hallways, past employees. As for the luggage and cake and McCarthy's speeches? Forgettable after 10 minutes. I signed up for HBO to watch...2 1/2 weeks later cancelled the nonsense, good riddance.

I'd say the biggest theme was Jerry trying to build NFL's international markets. The NFL has already enjoyed elite Latin NFL talent (Munoz, Romo, Garcia, Plunkett). All-Corn? couldn't play for Alabama or North Dakota State. He gone and predictably the Star will fake a story about Kamara passing waivers. Reality: he way, way gone too. And wut? Players of African origin making it in the NFL, such a novel story!

The UK d-line coach, designed to appeal to Euro viewers? Players were rolling their eyes, and perhaps they're ankles to avoid listening further. Was it more bore or more embarrassment? I'm not interested enough to parse.

In 2021 HBO & the NFL is just garbage fake messaging. 5 minutes into episode four I decided I would rather skip it....sleep and hope for dreams of drone flights.

Unfortunately for me, among the 2002, 2008 and the 2021 Hard knocks, this one is the worst one.
Maybe 08 above 02, but something just feels off about this season.
Some decent moments and footage, but as @Fla Cowpoke posted it feels like football is an afterthought

I want to rewatch the Amazon one from a few years back. Sure they probably cut out some stuff per the teams direction but at least IIRC it had more in depth football stuff
