Not that great. Concerned about the DEF and what Quinn can do with it. What we saw of Zeke was not great, but way too early to form an opinion on that yet. Special Teams looks a concern as well

The Defense was OK, just a bit conservative....no point in over-committing to pressurizing Brady with our questionable secondary. It's never going to be able to over pressurize.....unless we resolve the glaring issue of CB2, as that's an easy play for any QB (even thoughs not called the goat).

Zeke not great ? He blocked and did a job.

First time in a while I was frustrated after a game.

4 turnovers by defense
Offense looked good all 4 quarters
Special teams pooped the bed
Lost by 2 points in another scenario where we allow the opposing team to drive down for the GWFG

I am feeling pretty good for a loss actually.
We went into the defending superbowl champions house and gave them all they could handle.
This without our best player. (Martin)
Lost by 2 points when our kicker missed a short field goal.

We have a top 5 passing attack.
Defense is much improved.

Biggest concern is special teams which aint so special.

Feeling good about the rest of the season.
We should win the NFC Least easily.

What say you ?
Mixed mostly pissed at the no call. Brady’s good but thing always goes hus way at the rught time

Lose a game when you win the turn over battle 4-1. That is not a good sign IMHO.

I think this is a solid point. The Buc rolled up well over 400 yards of offense and did that while committing 3 "real" turnovers. If that ball doesn't bounce off a RBs hands, for example, we could be talking about a defense that gave up 500 yards of offense.

Nothing has changed. This is still a dumb football team making dumb mistakes in a game they SHOULD have won. Dak had a great statistical game much like Romo used to do. But the only stat that matters is the win and its still not evident that Dak can beat a good team. One more first down and we win this game. Dak couldn't complete the pass he had to complete and Brady did. Thats what separates winning and losing in the NFL.

Arrow is pointing up… Dak and Coop look great, D looks scrappy, and we gave the champs all they could handle missing our best player and leaving points on the field

I feel positive… lots to build on from this performance, and several areas to clean up.

We will get some key guys back from injury in a couple weeks, and we won’t always have to play the #1 rush defense on the road every week lol

If you gave us this performance prior to kick off we would of bitten your hand off. I suppose the responses are clouded by disappointment on what could have been.

As was mentioned lets see if this is the launching pad (for the next 8 games). With this performance im expecting 7-2 (hoping for 8-1).

Yawn...

Another game vs a good team =another Loss......same old same old.
A team along with the refs who tried their best to give you this game!
Celebrate when you win the game anything else is the loser's territory!

What shocks me is the overwhelming amount of celebration for Dak and the optimism being voiced. A moral victory is not a victory yet so many are applauding this team for not being rolled over. I will be the first to say Dak played better than expected but what does that matter if the team lost? I just do not understand this manner of thinking as it seems that is how society is these days. I guess when participation trophies became a thing it invaded societal thinking.

There are no moral victories. A win is a win and a loss is a loss.

Meh…hard to be emotional when expectations weren’t expecting a win. With that felt there was some improvement on defense but didn’t like the lb rotation. Play the best players and move on from the Jaylon mistake. Didn’t like the unbalanced offensive attack but understand why. Best rushing defense the last two years and Dak was lighting them up all night. Tuff loss but that was a hard place to go and get a win yet minus the missed kicks should have won. Missed kicks, FGs instead of TDs, and penalties in key moments. The same roller coaster we have been watching the past 26 years. Yeah just meh until they figure out how to win Big games and show some consistency on both sides of the ball. Entertaining nonetheless.

Disappointed. Some of same things that has plagued this team for years were on display last night. No defensive pressure up the middle, weak CB play and the inability for the defense to make a play to preserve a win. It is just the 1st game though. Hopefully, as players come back and as the season moves on, these will improve. But history suggests otherwise.

Need a larger sample size to get a feel for the defense. I love the turnovers but those will come and go. This could've easily been a 45 Burger from TB if Godwin holds on to the ball. Like I said, larger sample size, so we'll see as the season goes on against lesser offenses.

What DID we see of the run? Not much really. The boy wonder at OC gave up on the run while the plane was still on the tarmac at DFW. Matters not which RB you favor, neither one got a valid chance last night. Yes, Tampa has a stout D-Line, you still have to make them respect the run, you still have to make the LB and the DB be aware of your ability to run the ball.
