Well the issue was a corner isn't suppose to slip lol. The corner slipping ruined everything even though Brady probably would've found someone open anyway.
The same receiver that would have been open was the same receiver he threw to

you can tell by Brown's reaction that he was expecting help. Since no Safety was in the picture or even close to the play, I thought Brown got the coverage wrong but I guess he didn't in this case.

I immediately thought the same when I seen Brown’s reaction, I said he was expecting safety help. For those that don’t know (and I’m not a expert), if he is assigned to trail, his responsibility is the hooks!and underneath routes.

I didn’t know that someone fell down and that’s what draw the safety, I thought the safety followed Brady’s eyes as he looked hard and long to the left side before turning right and releasing that beautiful bomb.

Dallas coaching philosophy. All is well...except the truth.

Two words : Malik Hooker. He is knocking that BS down or picking it.

Kind of BS by Quinn. Safety help or not he was in the trail position. If it wasn’t his assignment than Brown would’ve been left open. He just got burnt

it looked like busted coverage by the S.

no help over top.

I'm no defensive mastermind, but a coverage that allows a WR to blow by a CB expecting help over the top doesn't seem like a good idea to me.

"Trailing technique" seems like nothing more than allowing the WR to gain a step on 2 on the CB.

Brown wasn’t playing off man.

S play has been bad for many seasons now.

reminds me of the Jets game.

Oh no doubt, you’re absolutely correct. Publicly shaming an NFL caliber talent (small % of dudes can do what they do) isn’t the way to go. Brown is a million times the athlete I am.

Im just saying from the way it looks, he was just beat. He’s beat early and often.

Brown and Lewis are a huge waste of money. I hope they prove me wrong but after so many years it gets old watching these guys get beat week in and out.

trail tech.

S has over top.

I agree with Brown getting beat but sounds like Quinn was calling out the safety or player that fell down causing the safety to leave his assignment.

I haven't looked at that play to see if what he is saying is true. All i can remember is Brown not even close to making a play
Lewis fell down.

I do not blame the game on Brown, but he did not look good either. A lot of other things happened that caused the loss.
An accumulation of mistakes and miscues.

He's just never been that good enough to handle an outside starting role.
The more ground and task he has to cover, the bigger the WR assignment, the more he's likely to struggle.

Ditto with Lewis.
The better offenses,.. the better QBs,.. the better WRs, ..the better teams, are simply gonna take advantage of him.
He's being shown up for what he is, .an average NFL player.

I'll say again, that the belief was one of the rookie draftees, particularly Joseph, would be able to step up this summer, and step in early as a starter as the No.2 CB
opposite Diggs.

I've never heard the term "trail position", but from what I've seen it's just a nicer way of saying "*** toasted".

One thing I don't understand is why Brown gave him a free release. He was up on the line in press, and didn't get his hands on him at the LOS. That's a mistake.
