All this hype about his size & speed and he couldn’t stay with Gronk around 5 yard radius. If he doesn’t get better in coverage soon then he will be considered a bust pick.

You are the reason we can't go to the Super Bowl!

I have high hopes for Parson but some fans having him in the Hall of Fame before one season is :laugh:laughable.

After 1 game? LOL
I don't agree with that statement. I was just reading his post and I didn't see him say he sucked......but I mean look at who made the post? He's not one of the most credible posters around here.

This was a weakness I called out before the draft. A very glaring weakness to me.

I wasn’t a fan of the draft pick because imo he has to be special to validate that high of a pick and be a linebacker.

With that said… The guy is a freak athlete. I heard someone call him the Saquon Barkley of linebackers. So he does have the physical ability to be a coverage guy. He runs a 4.3 40 at 250 pounds. Unheard of.

It was his first nfl game against an offense that has over 20 super bowl rings (combined), including the greatest QB and TE combo of all time. Tampa also has what I believe is the best Oline in football (maybe 2nd to the Browns).

He’ll be fine lol

Hope you right, Catch. I have high hopes for him also. But until I see a linebacker bring it like Norton did. I'll be skeptical. I rarely see our linebackers really light anyone up like Norton did.

Disagree, nobody covers Gronk effectively and you are overreacting.

To be fair its not like gronk is his younger self or ran some beyond comprehended route! The guy is an antique. I expected better from parson.

The skill doesn't change. Just like Witten you can be old and still get separation and do your job.

Everybody needs to tap the brakes when evaluating Parsons. He is a rookie that hasn’t played in a while. He has a long ways to go, but he has shown flashes of being an elite LB. Have a little patience.
