It's all about risk v reward and the problem is that we've not seen the reward side of a Gregory or Smith pick yet. Sean Lee was another and all he did was tease what what might have been had he been able to stay healthy. We've got others in this draft calls that risk v reward as well.

Does the owner even focus on the reward side or is it all about the risk and the additional chatter he gets when he does that? He was willing to take the risk on Manziel and not for football but as an attraction. PT Barnum would have been a crummy NFL owner.

I’m shocked other fans don’t feel this team is snake bit? Like we can’t get out of our own way. Wow
All teams face injuries and other issues.
Our fan base are the Karens of the NFL.....
WA WA WA WA WA it was the refs,it was coaching,no no it was Sagittarius in libra.
Maybe from the Ownership/GM down to the players were not that good!!!
26 years and counting what other proof do we need to realize it's the same old same old......

Only two weeks into the season we now have lost both our starting DE’s, starting right tackle and a starting WR. And that doesn’t count losing our All Pro RG in the opener.

Hopefully Gregory can return next week but who knows. The Chargers with Herbert and that passing attack must be kicking their chops now.

I was initially hopeful we could avoid 0-2 but not looking good now . We just can’t stay out of our own way. Pitiful !!
It’s time for someone to step up. That’s all I can say

Yep, I don't buy snake bit about this team. The variables might wobble but there has been one, make that two, constants throughout those 26 years.

He was being tested a lot and failed to show for 7 tests and the NFL automatically assumes a player misses a test for a reason. He didn't follow the rules.
OK everything I could find stated he did not fail a test but was not showing up for tests . Still a rules violation but not a positive test. Unless I missed something .I think he ran out of pepe

How many times have you, we, all of us, said that? It's like magic words that will fix everything.

Optimists are great people, very uplifting to be around but they make crappy GM's of sports teams because that job calls for always planning for the worst. Hoping for the best is not action.

I do not think Booger is capable of playing the "what's the worst that can happen"? He's sold himself on being Mr. Positive all his life and that's a wonderful way to go through life and that has worked for his life. It has not worked for his football team on the field.

He sits back and admires his work when a real GM would be asking himself "what have I forgotten? What can go wrong? What am I missing? Am I prepared for the curve balls? What can cost me my job?"

Want to know what's wrong with the last 26 years? Two words, job security.

I’m today’s NFL a team should be able to survive injuries unless it’s the QB. If the Cowboys fall off the cliff because they have some injuries well than they are just not a good team and wouldn’t challenge for the super bowl. I guess we will see this week what type of team they have. This is what happens when you overpay players like Jerrah. Leaves your team thin.

Maybe I should’ve said, it is what it is. And I’m still watching

That’s how I feel about part time referees. Give me some full-time people that are afraid to lose their job and they screw up

Yah, this season went downhill faster than last year. Sad really. How many times can we expect Dak to throw for 400 yards and 3 TD's every week? Even when he does the offense cant hold anyone under 30.
