Where are we Gallimore and Hill?

I haven't heard a lot about each's healthy at this point. When Gallimore got hurt, there was talk it was a 6-8 week injury which means he could be back as early as say the 4th game (seemed lofty). I haven't heard much, if anything, about Hill.

I think we need both of these guys back. Yeah, they aren't elite but I think with both of them the DT rotation improves at least.

Gallimore can come back after our next game as well as Joseph.

No idea about Hill.

I heard that Hill died along side Fawn Liebowitz in a freak kiln explosion.

Didn’t Hill have an ACL like at the beginning of last season? That dude should be healthy by now if that the case

Two young Cowboys contributors will miss at least the team’s September portion of the season. Both defensive tackle Neville Gallimore and rookie cornerback Kelvin Joseph will begin their seasons on IR.

Gallimore is recovering from a dislocated elbow, while Joseph suffered a groin injury during Dallas’ preseason finale last week. While each is expected to return this season, neither can do so before Week 4. Gallimore’s timeline lines up with that return date.

I get the timeline but I was looking for a current update on how he's progressing and whether that Week 5 return is likely, possible, or not.

Hill must sit out the first 6 weeks. Then we have 5 weeks for him to start practicing again

I read he was waved August 31st.

Edit: Placed on reserve PUP for the 1st 6 weeks.

It's been bizarrely quiet on Hill.

The last report I heard on Hill was that he was really close to being back. That was right at the end of training camp. I’m guessing the plan was to give him a few extra weeks on IR and then bring him back.

I would hope to start hearing more news on them after this week since that is when they will be eligible to return. Have seen nor heard anything and maybe media just not focused on it since these players are on IR. Maybe media is just dropping the ball.

yeh that was before the bye break.
But maybe ACL issues vary on a case by case basis. .
Dunno how Hill's ACL injury and rehab compares to the ones Connor Williams and Blake Jarwin experienced.

But it's odd how there's hasn't been any reports on his rehab, working with trainers or how close ..or far away
he is from the field again.

And I am probably being a fool expecting anything out of him, but I hope we get him and Gallimore back and playing sooner, rather than later. I fully understand there's a good chance I'll be disappointed in Hill when he starts playing anyway. LOL.

Because injured players don't practice during the open media session you won't hear anything back about them until it's time for them to get back on the roster. After this week you will get updates on Gallimore and Joseph. And after 6 weeks you'll hear about Hill.

Yeah I expect nothing from him....but I at least want to see him out there and see what he has so we can know if we need to move on from him or not.
