Wow. I didn't realize we were so loaded.
Consider yourself schooled. I am going to start charging you ‘likes.’

Good trades in the NFL are much more difficult to do unless you plan to give up too much. Since the cap was instituted, trades in the NFL have become more rare and certainly more costly.
I see many fans throwing trade ideas out that won’t work for one of several reasons:
- We as fans tend to way overvalue our talent and how other teams would value it.
- Other teams are not very interested in parting ways with a player of value- Especially a pass rushing DE, which is one of the hardest positions to find talent in the NFL.
- The cost of a proposed trade for a player of REAL value is very high. Like premium draft picks as in 1st or 2nd round picks.
Agreed. Although he’s getting up there in age he’s still a top cb in the league and we can sign him to a 1 year deal (I don’t know what his current contract is like)Not gonna happen, but the GM should explore a trade for CB Stephen Gilmore from the Patriots. He is on IR, and not happy in NE and may be worth a 3rd that could move into a conditional 2nd. Having Gilmore and Diggs in the backfield would help the pass rush......again its a dream scenario
CB upgrade is a huge need over DE IMO.
Is Sherman an ufa ?

Are you serious? Diggs is the only decent one they have. And I'm not advocating for a trade and just stating that CB is their biggest need right now IMO.Why is that? CBs have been decent. Brown expected help against Antonio Brown on the TD. The safety went elsewhere due to Lewis tripping.
Even if CB were a need, not getting any decent CB without massively overpaying in a trade.

We beat SD but we had guys outta position- role players becoming real players.
Id look to deal for a DE
Meanwhile after the Chargers game in San Diego....
I think so too. Have to give it a few weeks for teams to get the bigger picture. If they realize their season is going nowhere (i.e. Jets) then they might be more willing to move some pieces to help bolster their future.Too early to make trades, even if they could do one.

With every team in the league trying to win games still, who is trading a quality DE, unless it's a massive overpay?Am I right in

What is he on IR for. As he is an older player, this may be a bad trade. Will he continue to get injured from this point forward.
I would not give up that high of draft capital for him, especially on IR.
When you have an 8 second pocket, a new CB is always going to be needCB gives me worries.
