If Elliot gets 1000-1200 yards this year then he earned his money. Along with his catches and blocking.

You would be happy with a 1000 yard rushing? DMC gave us that in 2015 with Cassel being his primary QB and Dez playing injured and/or missing. He didn’t even start at the beginning of the season. He averaged 4.6 ypc and the fanbase was so unhappy with our top 10 running game that year, they cherished a more high profile running back. The majority of the fanbase still thinks the 2015 running game was a joke.

I know Elliot wants to be the guy. And if JJ said put Pollard in more then Elliot would be fine with it. Elliot gets the same check no matter the carries. It does let you know he reads some of the fans comments.

the GMF crew did and entire segment on how pollards the starter now and zekes no longer the guy..hard to miss that , disagree but that the stuff that hard to ignore when national media starts making comments, lets talk after 17 games and see how this works out..if pollard wins the job, im cool with it but Zeke wont go away quietly ON the field.. IMO zekes still the starter and not because of his check or name..it swill prove itself out over time..

I like the 1-2 punch but these posts are getting out of control over one nice game by Pollard in which two of his biggest gains zeke was also lined up with him and the defense first step was towards zekes motion and were step behind going after pollard..

zeke is still a key when defines see him in the backfield and pollards getting rewarded for it.,.if he was always the guy and had to go get dirty yards play in and play out we would see a different player IMO..

I hope they both do well they are dallas cowboys there's no taking sides..ughh

his statements weren't truly about money its about people who actually are iN the know , watch film, breaking down whos doing what and why pays are working knows zekle still the primary back..fans and media only see the end result of the paly not what made it happen..

Elliot gets some passes and blocks like a beast on pass plays. Some years 1500 gets the rushing title. So 1200 and what Pollard will get. Would love to see him get the rushing title and see Pollard get close to 1000 but we will see how much we pass this year.

Let me clarify, if Zeke gets 1k yards rushing on 200 carries, I will be happy. If he needs 250 carries to get 1k yards, I will not be happy with that performance from a RB the caliber of what Zeke should be.
